Andhra University is one of the oldest universities in India. Dr. C.V. Raman is one of the alumni of the college. The admission is on the basis of scores received in AUCET, AUEET and EAMCET and the academic score of 10+2 is also considered. The admission process is smooth. The admission for is to be filled from the college official website and I was shortlisted on my EAMCET score and was invited to the college for counselling and was allowed the seat after clearing all the rounds on the college campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the college is good and as per the latest industrial norms and rules and regulations. The curriculum is designed to impart all the basics and modern knowledge and help us to develop our innovative skills. The faculty of the college is very good and cooperative. The faculty are highly qualified and well trained. The faculty have completed their PhD program and have research experiences from the renowned universities of India. The drawback is the number of faculty is a little low.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides good internship opportunities in good companies. The college invites good numbers of companies for internships around 45 companies visit our campus during the summer internship program and the average stipend for the internship is around 45k.
Placement Experience
The college placement is descent but the college manages a record of 100% placement record. The college invites companies such as ISRO, IRS, DRDO, Wipro, HCL, TCS, Infosys, Mahindra, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, Satyam for placement drive of the college. The highest salary offer of the college goes up to 10 LPA and the average salary offer is around 5 LPA. The college placement cell is full of experienced members.

Campus Life
The college campus life is good. The college offers sports facilities like a badminton court, basketball court, and volleyball court. The library of the college has a variety of books available for us and many international research journals are also available. The college infrastructure is very well maintained. The classrooms are properly ventilated and are spacious. The college seniors are quite friendly and the college staff is very professional and active to resolve any kind of issue.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are a common room with LCD TV, a study room, basketball and volleyball court. The hostel mess food is good and the menu is very vast. the rooms are fully furnished and properly ventilated. The hostel wardens are quite professional and the staff is very well trained. The hostel discipline is properly maintained. The hostel has all kinds of facilities for us.
