Remarks
The admission process was based on the aktu entrance exam. The eligibility was sixty percent marks in maths physics and chemistry combined. The cutoff mark was 25 percent of the total maximum mark. It was 150 out of 600.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have opted for computer science and information technology as I am very keen to learn and develop software. I am also very much interested in coding. The faculty to student ratio in the college is good with enough faculties who are either PhD or have completed MSc.
Internships Opportunities
College provides many internship opportunities to every student. The CCIP cell is very helpful. Many students got internships at kenvent with a stipend of 10000 to 20000 per month. Even companies like Goldman Sachs has hired interns at a 100000 lakh stipend.
Placement Experience
Placements at KIET GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS is very good, an average package that most of the companies offered is around 5 lacs. In the past few years, the placement percent has been around 80%. Even this year the 2023 batch 14 students got a package of almost 44 lacs from Amazon.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for a year in the course is about 119299 rupees. There is a provision for a fee waiver during the admission given according to the rank and category of the candidate. There are various government and private scholarship schemes made available to eligible students of the college.
Campus Life
The tech fest in the college is known as innotech which takes place every year. All the course books are made available to the students from the library. There are various other books made available. The classrooms are well equipped with air conditioners and smart boards. Various clubs include innogeeks, e cell and DSC.
