The basic eligibility criteria is 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium . (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants) How to apply :- 1 Sign up :- Register on to LPUADMIT with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password). Then you will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this. 2 Application form :- Fill the form by selecting your desired course. Upload the documents like recent photo , DOB proof , qualified exam certificate. 3 LPUNEST :- LPUNEST is an online test for scholarship in LPU. Application fees for boys is 1000 and for girls is 500. After filling the form select the slot for your day of test and timming and all the details will be given to your mail

I was a commerce student so obviously this course will satisfy my needs and also I wanted to go for this course only. The faculty here are very well qualified, and as they are at least postgraduate or pursuing a doctorate and they have a great experience in teaching. The faculty is helpful and always ready to solve your queries and they all are so disciplined like coming on time in the class taking assignment timely. The syllabus is a designed in such a way that a student can get learning about every aspect of business and commerce. There are 4 to 5 continuous assignments then there is mid term then end term. If you fail, you will have three more attempts to clear the subject you failed in. Those three attempts will be of 100 marks only. If you are unable to clear, even after these attempts then you will have a backlog, and to clear that you have to attend classes for one entire semester i.e. it will be like one add on the subject for that particular semester and this time you have to give internal tests, midterms and end terms too.

There are lots of unpaid and paid internship opportunities in the campus like doing course related tasks. But now a days there are lots of apps like internshala and Glassdoor they provide you lots of intership opportunities students most of the time opt internship from this platform only. But yes Lpu gives intership platform it's on you if you want to apply you can go for it. Lpu also provides the facility of part time work students who are willing to do that they also apply for that for getting money for their own expenses.

The placement of lpu is good all you have to do for getting good placements is get a nice Mark in your subject get atleast 8 cgpa and yes your cv should be updated. From the final year students fill the placement form and then they have placement classes and the best part is teacher helps you alot in placements help as in maintaining your cv. Overall lpu has a good record in placements after doing b.com very less students go for placement because instead of placement they would go fo higher studies but if you will look at mba and btech or any other professional course there the thing is different there the average package is 5 lakh. My plans after B.com was clear that i would go for higher studies like MBA so didn't even applied for placement form.

My fees was 39500 for one year that's because of scholarship that Lpu provides LPUNEST because without scholarship my fees was 72000. Lpu gives the best campus life because it has the best infrastructure and also there are more than 150 student organised clubs these organise events and every day in LPU app you will see hiring for some organisations. Biggest fest of lpu is udaan , Nirvana and many more there are lots of tech fest in collaboration with Google or any other tech companies 24 hr hackathon is always the highlight. Classroom is fully updated like smart monitors, air conditioned and best is the furniture like the chairs they provide are so comfortable. Every department of study has its own library and a canteen. Study and sports they both are important part for students and lpu gives good facilities in trrms of sports there is a separate ground for cricket, football, basketball and volleyball and seperate court for swimming, table tennis, badminton, tennis and kabaddi. As I said earlier there are more than 150 groups that are run by Students and these clubs organise nice events.

The hostel rooms provided by the college is nice the room that i opted was 4 bed and air cooler and there are various options like 2 seater 4 seater 6 seater, dormetry and also apartments are available if you don't want to go for hostel. If there is any problem warden is there for 24 hrs so you won't face any issues instead you will the hostel it has a mess ,salon ATMs, lift and shopping store. The food quality of hostel mess is not upto the mark but the canteen food is good with lots of options. The best part about hostel mess is its breakfast you will surely love it. There are lots of students and faculty that don't want to live in the campus instead out of the campus that's why the Live in pg or apartments outside the campus best part of living outside is you will get affordable and furnished rooms like 4000 for 2 is the starting rate places like law gate, Phagwara,chaheru and Jalandhar there you can find good rooms the best one would be law gate it is developed and close to lpu.
