JNTUA College of Engineering Anantapur, B.Tech, Mechanical Engineering

Reviewed on Mar 16, 2022(Enrolled 2019)

Remarks

The government of andhrapradesh conducted an exam called eamcet . In eamcet I got 12746 ranks then there is a process of choosing college and branch to get a seat I that college. I am interested in mechanical engineering so I applied to different government colleges. So luckily I got a seat in jntua college of engineering. At first, the process of admission has some rules like submitting some documents and all the process is completed so iam now a student in this college that proud moment of getting a government college like jntua is a biggest wonder in my life. Next making my student life more enjoyable . Then the college started subjects i have in 1-1 are chemical and maths labs so such a experience of real knowledge ny doing labs.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose mechanical engineering for a very valid point that why do boys have all the fun. I thought mechanical engineering is the tough one so I gives very vast experience making my student journey a wild dream. So I chose ut. According to me, faculty qualifications are quite highly professional professors. And more non-teaching staff for doing labs. Moderate question if you study for the exam then you can easily pass the exam if you do not then you fail there not such difficult exams only one or two like dom.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

We have fee reimbursment. Our CM gave that. The schlorships we get is janabhumi and jagananna vediyadevvana like such policy of education so they provided I am still studying so according to placements not bad according to me our graduates got very good companies.

Campus Life

3.5

Very good and green, clean campus. The very oldest campus needs some different facilities according to me. Presenting seminars, skill development programmes, student club union, vtalk club, singing club. According to me, I am very inspired by Korean schools and colleges I am expecting such things in India. They are very independent and brave. Sports only according to occasions iam participating but we have very vast ground and all the students can utilize it.

I like the facilities provided by the college like labs.
I like the placements provided by the college. Companies are too good.

Dislikes

management is giving equal opportunities to everyone . What I felt is they should concentrate on toppers.
college management won't allow students to go out side of the campus without permission

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities in my college are good and provide students reasonable career opportunities Approximately 70% of students got placed in the campus recruitment. Apart from on campus drives management encourages students to enhance their skills and gives suggestions in applying out of campus drives.

Campus placements start from the 3-2 semester with pre-placement training, aptitude test, coding rounds and interviews. Companies like HSBC, Prowess soft, ADP, Infinite computer solutions and many more companies visited the campus for recuritment. The average package is around 3.5 LPA while the highest package is 16.43 LPA in 2026 and varies each year. I was selected by Infinite Computer Solution in 4-1 semester itself with a package of 4.5 LPA. After my graduation, I plan to build my career in software development and enhance my techinal skills.

There's nothing really left to like ....
The University has multiple types of degrees and courses present but low placements
The university is really a huge and vast place but unclean

Dislikes

Dirty washrooms, no hygeine,no maintenance
Old and unclean hostel rooma, worst infrastructure
Unclean mess food , no hygeine, toxic...

Placement Experience:

The campus placements of this college are partial, there are not really best offers made to this college but just average and the average package could be around may be 20 k?. I could say not More than 30 percent of the students aren't offered placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got civil engineering in my college. As our country is in developing mode the role of civil engineers is going to be crucial. The interdisplinary subjects prepare us for the challenges faced other than civil engineering.each month we have a exam to be specific 2 minors 1 mid term and 1 end term examination.the difficulty level is somewhat moderate. If we thoroughly go through teachers's notes and practice a few problems it is going to be very helpful
