Remarks
Admission is on the basis of your JEE Mains rank. So you have to clear the JEE Mains exam for eligibility for this course. Application is present on the JEE Mains website. Reservation is also available 28% OBC, 10% EWS, 10% SC &ST. Cutoffs are relaxed for Delhi students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is somewhat disappointing to me as in the first year all students have to study the same subjects which is the old curriculum. My branch is Software Engineering. The faculty to students ratio is 75:1. Almost faculty members are PhD graduates. Exams in the online curriculum were easy to pass but in offline semesters we have to study hard, but that's good to understand the concepts deeply.
Internships Opportunities
Sprinklr came here to have a Software Engineer as an intern for two months with an amazing stipend of Rs.2,00,000 per month. Wells Fargo came here to have a Software Developer as an intern with a stipend of 75,000 Rs. per month.
Placement Experience
The placements of DTU is amazing! From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Atlassian, Google, Phonepe, CodeNation, Wells Fargo, PayTm, Facebook, Amazon, Uber, Ola, Microsoft, Sprinklr etc. companies visited here and out of 2500 students,2217 students got the placement offer. Almost 90% of students acquire placement here. After getting the degree, I want to grab the placement and then after getting work experience, I want to start my own business.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is gradually increasing every year by 5%. As this year fee is Rs. 2,06,000 and next year Rs. 2,12,000. Various scholarships were offered by the college which you can fill on their official websites and Delhi government also provide scholarship for students which you can apply at the E-District site Delhi. Student loans are easily available in campus.
Campus Life
Life is much better in DTU as compared to other government colleges in NCR. Many tech societies and non-tech societies are available, by exploring you may open many opportunities for yourself. The infrastructure was quite good. The total campus area is 167acres. The sports complex is also available.
Hostel Facilities

Mess food is generally average to eat but not so unhealthy that you can't bear it. The registration process for the hostel can be done by applying for it in the ERP portal on the DTU website. The locality is good for rented rooms and PG.
