You must have a science background in 12th. You can find all the details of the application form on college's official website as well as on other websites. There is no kind of reservation benefits n our college. There must be some kind of test to take admission in the specific course.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course Because I want to work in the IT industry. The faculty is good well as the student ratio is also good. All the faculty members are well qualified and the teaching method is very efficient and effective. Semester exams are conducted on a timely basis and the difficulty level of exams is average.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Placement Experience

The students become eligible from the last year of the course for placements. TCS, Technology and Lupin visited our campus and they offer various offers to students. The highest package is 6 LPA and the lowest package is 3lpa and the profiles offered are of software trainee and quality analyst 70 percent of students got placed in companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no fees hike policies in our college and the cost of the study is manageable. All the students can easily manage the fees. Scholarships is available for SC and ST candidates. Financial assistance is also provided. I have got no job on campus.

Campus Life

Holi fest & IT fest are conducted in the month of March and November respectively. All kinds of books and journals are available in the library. Amenities are well available in Classroom. Various sports activities like cricket, basketball etc are conducted on campus. NGO group is run by students.

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

Remarks:

Good staff are very nice and supportive nature. There are not any faculty problem. Functions are organized in a very large scale which is very good. Ragging are strictly banned in college which is very good for fresher students. BAD: lack of equipment and machines in labs. Lack of practical knowledge for students.
