Overall, responses from both the quantitative and qualitative data indicated moderate to high levels of satisfaction with the quality of teaching, instruction, learning and student engagement; with students being less (but nevertheless still) positive about workloads, assessments, outcomes and available or assigned resources. Many responses indicated that students felt their lecturers were/are knowledgeable, skilled, enthusiastic, committed, and prepared. Comments were also typically made concerning lecturers’ willingness and ability to employ effective teaching methods and incorporate various learning materials, resources and technologies into teaching in ways that enhance student learning. Students also reported that lecturers provide prompt and comprehensive feedback on their academic work, treat students in a collegial manner, and are available when students require assistance. Some students commented that their workloads were more challenging than they had expected or felt

Observing faculty in action is a good way. The observation of the faculty member could be conducted by the department head and also by colleagues at different times. A rubric/checklist should be prepared in advance and needs to be filled during the observation. The most important thing is to do both announced and unannounced observation visits. The faculty members should expect both to happen. Another way for evaluating faculty performance is by using a self-evaluation, usually done in the form of a video that the faculty member shoots of himself/herself in action. After they are done taping a class they taught, they can view their video and then reflect on what they did well and what things they need to change. The reflection could be done individually or with the guidance of a colleague or a department head or a mentor, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

In today’s world, education has become one of the most essential and expensive assets. Most high school pass outs look for financial assistance to pursue the career of their dreams that requires several years of education. In such a scenario, scholarships come up as the most desired form of financial aid. This is because, unlike educational loans, you don’t have to repay scholarships. If you are deserving, you can get scholarships on merit basis. This makes scholarships prestigious and also pays for your degree. You should definitely apply for scholarships in the college of your choice. After all, a scholarship comes with numerous benefits. Saves you from debt Many students graduate from college with huge loan debts. The thought of repaying all the money limits their education. It also creates immense pressure on them for getting placed at good packages. This is the reason why most students can’t pursue careers, which don’t pay high salaries at entry level, even if they want to.On the

Our college has a good infrastructure and the environment is neat and clean. It would be great if the equipments in laboratory are maintained well. And also the classrooms are spacious and can accommodate large number of students Academics Education is given first priority and materials related to subjects are provided by our faculty. The staff are very friendly and supportive. They provide us with additional information about the subjects being taught. Placements Placement training activities are given equal importance as Educational activities. We had lots of hands on training experiences in Java programming. Trainers for aptitude help us to improve aptitude skills and enhance problem solving.

Placement Experience:

Our college is not so good in terms of placement. Our college is not tied up with the MNC for the placements of the students. Mostly sales-related jobs are offered in the placements. The highest package offered by our college is approx 7 LPA and the average package is 4.8 LPA. According to my point of view, only 15 to 20 percent of students can get jobs.

The accounts office has only two windows and the college has numerous students. Paying fee or fine becomes a lengthy process because of the long lines. There is mismanagement in that case. And student exchange program is also absent. No internships also is a drawback.
