Remarks

I got admission through UPCET counselling based on JEE Rank. The application form is available on the UPCET website. Eligibility is 10 + 2. There are many direct admission students who also get admission through their Class 12 merit.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

There are almost 60 students in each section being handled by 3 mentors. The faculties are really very supportive. They even stay till 8 PM in hostels before semester exams. Exams are held every 15 days and you can easily pass if you've attended classes and prepared notes.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 136000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college offers internships and the placement cell is very dedicated. It provides training for the students. Companies like Cognizant, Accenture provide internships to the students. There is a mini project in the 2nd year based on which internships are provided.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements after the 6th semester. A large number of companies visited for the placements and the average package was 6.6 LPA for the 2021-22 season. 14 Students got into Amazon for 40 LPA. The placement for CSE/IT is near about 95%

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the first year is 1,36,000. Students get scholarships based on their financial status. You may also opt for fee waiver by taking admission in lower branches. Be sure to get admission in main branches such as CSE, IT not in allied branches like CSAI or CSIT, etc. as these are not recognized by NBA.

Campus Life

4.5

Fests are held every semester where students from different colleges participate. All well known books are available in the central library. Classrooms are Air Conditioned and equipped with projectors. There is a total of 3 sports grounds and 2 additional in the hostels. The clubs are functional and active. They show active participation in the activities.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

24x7 electricity, water and WiFi is available in the hostels. The meal quality is better than most of the hostels and the menu is great. The cost of hostel is 94,000 for an year. The registration for the hostel is during the admission process itself.

Hostel Fee: INR 94000 per year

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

Inside Out of KIET

My decision was I could say influenced by my elder brother and I don't regret taking admission here. I applied to all AKTU colleges got rejected only from IET LUCKNOW and KNIT SULTANPUR purely due to percentile reason Other than that I got all the colleges including BIET JHANSI. I chose this one due to placement of the 2022 batch. Admission happens here through JEE MAINS and DIRECT ADMISSION as well For my course if you are general then you should have atleast 90+ percentile if you are from home state that is UP. Direct Admission happens on the basis of 12th result for CSE you need near around 90 percentage...Read More
