Remarks

The minimum requirement of admission is 60 percent in the 12th class and admission is through the UPSEE entrance exam. The application fee is 1200. But now admission to Golgotha college is only through Jee Mains ranking

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to explore the Electronic branch and always want to do fieldwork. My mutual interest is in electrical engineering. The faculty is great for every 40 students there is one teacher. All faculty are highly qualified. Every month there are session exams

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

In NMRC and DMRC electrical engineer internship is offered. There are also company visits for internships. Many times HOD take us for industry visits to explore various parts of the industry. In the 4th year students are provided projects which help them in getting placement. Other extracurricular activities also help in enhancing our CV for better placement.

Placement Experience

3.5

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for sitting for placements. They are a lot of companies visited in our college like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Google, Deloitte, Mahindra, Tata and many other companies. The highest package offered in our electrical and electronics branches is 10 lakhs per announcer while the average package is about 3 lakhs. In my branch, about 50% of students are getting placed. After my BTech, I want to pursue MTech from my same college.

Fees and Financial Aid

I think there are average fees taken from us. Government scholarship is given to students for financial assistance and for weaker students. Core companies come to our college but mostly IT companies.

Campus Life

Every month new fests are held in our college. There are many active clubs in our college like the zone club, Rotaract club, and relation club. All books are available in our library latest journals are also available. The classroom facility is good we are provided with a cooler in the classroom. Our college is full of sports and extracurricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

In-room light and fan are all time available. Some AC rooms are also available in our college. Meal quality in mess is very cheap. The menu contains a variety of foods items. There is always a rush for applying for hostels. There are also lots of PGS and private hostels are available nearby of college.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
