Entrance Preview

I scored 66.33? in my HSC examination. It was very difficult for me to get into my dream college. Somehow, the cut off of BBI was a bit less in the year 2012 because there were many new courses started in the college. That's how I got in Jai Hind College.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course (BBI) is very good and its importance is growing every year in Mumbai as well as in other cities too. The course give you in-depth knowledge about the Banking and insurance sector in India.

Internships Opportunities

My internship experience was great. I got good exposure to the corporate world. Internship lasted for 5 months.

Placement Experience

There were a lot of big companies who came for the placements in my college. Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG, JLL,etc. are few to be named. That average package the offered was around 2.8-3 lacs annually.

College Events

Jai Hind College has a number of festivals throughout the year. The festival which we coduct is Entourage. Entourage was started by the BBI students. Its an inter-collegiate festival. Colleges from Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, etc take part in this festival. It's a 3 day festival.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships offered in the college. Sumi-tomo is one of them.

Campus Life

There are committees like the Rotoract Club, SDU, Literary and debating society, etc who conduct debate events, marathons, sports activities, indoor games, etc.

The college life is journey not a goal

Likes

Good service of the campus the shuttles are available.
There are 3 labs on 3 floor respectively. Also wending machines is provided to u
Stationary and printing room is available in design building from 8:30 to 4:30 we also have makerspace to make products and use material.

Dislikes

Too much rush in other departments which increases lots of competition and no self growth scope

Placement Experience:

Some people get good internship and opportunities where are some people have to find it on their own it's same in every college but most probably not gives the best education in our department. My plans after getting degree are to have job for experience and do my pg later.

Honest unbiased review of symbiosis institute of design

Likes

A lot of aspects of the design field have been covered in the course structure, from rendering to ideation and designing.
Rigorous practice and training is encouraged, structured course with multiple related assignments.
Great campus with canteen, stationery, juice centre, auditorium, amphi, sports area, gym, medical room and more.

Dislikes

Too much work pressure and too many assignments with multiple redos.
Expensive course with multiple extra expenses.
Furniture not up to the mark, angled tables with large working space not provided

Placement Experience:

Symbiosis institute of design has been known to have a placement percentage close to almost a 100%. It is well connected to industry professionals with a lot of them being alumni. Seminars and talks are regularly conducted with, exchange programs and field trips also being a part of the process. Internships begin from 3rd year and placement processes begin soon after.

Good days in College

Likes

The campus is beautiful. You could spend whole day in the campus, working and enjoying the weather. College life is fun.

Placement Experience:

Currently, our 4th-year students have gone to their respective internships. Placements are about to start. As this is the first batch of our college we are looking forward to the great placements of our students.

Life at Modart

Remarks:

It's one of the best fashion institutes and it has changed my way of living and has drastically helped in my growth structure. The environment is super supportive and friendly. When it comes to studies and knowledge there is no compromise and fun and entertainment also comes along the way, its never boring.

Best College for architecture and design course

Remarks:

The MVP college is one of the best Architectural and Design colleges in the region. I have a lot of fond memories of college. I am glad that I chose this college for my bachelor’s. That one decision changed my life and shaped my career in a way Gaudi would shape his buildings.

National Institute of Fashion Technology - [NIFT], Bachelor in Fashion Technology

Entrance Preview:

NIFT has its own entrance exam which happens in February every year. I got an AIR for 42. Why I chose NIFT can't be answered very logically, I didn't want to do sheetu everyone else was doing, I can just put it that way and Nift being the best in the course I opted for it.

Well the management is screwed up. They aren't that accommodating. Frankly it's just you and getting out as soon as possible once you get your degree.

The admission process is quite simple for aided courses like BA, BCOM and BSc the students have to fill up the required details in the admission and wait for the merit lists. Live your Dharma Dreams at Jai Hind College

I had applied for St Xavier's College Mumbai and Mithibai College Mumbai. I got into St Xavier's and decided to not go ahead with the admission because of the nature of the curriculum offered there. According to me, BMM is a practical course and requires practical knowledge and experience that Xavier's college couldn't offer. Their course is more theoretical in nature hence I choose Jai Hind over Xavier's.
