Remarks

Well if a student is from the southern parts of the country then he/she shouldn't have much to complain. On the other hand it's difficult for student from other parts to adjust to the lifestyle and living conditions of this place. The teaching is not very good and student have to do most of the learning by themselves.

Entrance Preview

Through IIT JEE I wanted to pursue engineering because i am passionate about iit.I was allocated a seat through the state quota,so i didn't face much difficulties during the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Course structure is pretty good but being a student from outside the state i think most of the faculties are not up to the mark when it comes to imparting quality knowledge.

Placement Experience

2

To be honest there are a very limited number of companies which visit the campus for recruitment. Most of the students have to depend on off campus recruitments.

College Events

4

The college does conduct a number of technical and cultural fests. So as far this is concerned i don't have any complaints.

Fees and Financial Aid

I availed the nec scholarship which is valid for students from meghalaya. To be honest i don't have much knowledge in this regard.

Campus Life

3

The campus life is not bad.everyone is cooperative. Gender ratio is average too except in the mechanical engineeringgineering department. There is a number of extracurricular activities conducted throughout the year. Most of the students hail from tamil nadu.there is not much sexual, racial or economic discromination among the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
