Remarks
Admission to DTU is done on the basis of JEE - MAINS rank. In my time there were 4 attempts , out of which best one is considered and at last result is declared with AIR. After that we have to participate in JAC counselling by filling the application form and list of choices. There are couple of rounds, and on the basis of that one gets admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is quite old. The faculty also is not very good. In addition to this, if anyone is interested in research then dtu is not the place. Basically, evaluation is done on the basis of assignments, projects , presentation, viva , exams (midsem + endsem). And, yes attendance scenario is quite chill here.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies also come for internships at the end of 2nd year during summer vacations. They offer stipends ranging from 40000 to 200000. Some of the companies are microsoft, amazon , google, sprinklr , apple. Majority of them come for SDE and consultant profiles.
Placement Experience
Talking about placements in DTU, it is getting higher and higher after every year. The average package is about 12-13 LPA. Highest domestic package goes up to 64 lakhs (offered by amazon) and 1.04 CR as international one. More than 300 companies visit campus for recruitment. And everyone gets placed in best of the companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Basically, in 4 years of engineering , total fees comes out to be around 8.5 lakhs. But there are many scholarships available which student can avail on the basis of family income. Also students can get loan easily from college bank itself.
Campus Life
The annual fest of DTU - manifest is quite popular and among the best in north india. Many big artists come and perform and it is altogether a memorable experience. Besides that there are many events which happen regularly. There are many societies and teams of various disciplines which helps student grow. The infrastructure and campus itself is very big around 170 acres. Talking about library, classroom, labs, medical centre, sports complex everything is really nice.
