Remarks

College management was very helpfull management always tried for campus selection for the students. My college also contuct a visit to the foreign university a single drawback that appears in my mind was that the distance between campus and Hostel was more.

Entrance Preview

I took UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Engg. Examination) after completing my three years diploma course. I had contacted my seniors, they told me about United College of Engineering and Research Allahabad. I had choosen B.Tech course.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I had selected B.Tech course and branch electronics & communication engineering, as there was scope of this Branch. Faculty of this college was experienced in their fields.

Internships Opportunities

Internship experience was very good as i had learned a lots of thing that helped me after completing my B.Tech course. Several of companies visited my campus in year 2011. Some of them are- infosys, Mahindra & Mahindra, Accenture, Syntel etc.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement and job opportunities was excellent. 60 to 70 % student of electronics & communication branch were selected in the campus selection.

College Events

Event SAMVET samvet is the annual festival extravaganza organized here at United. Books and sessionals are forgotten and the campus is transformed into a vibrant carnival.Seminars & WorkshopsThe seminars conducted in the United college were, Science, Technology and Society a 21st century perspective, India In the road ahead.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholership was available to the students who had scored good marks in Intermediate examination and entrance examination.

Campus Life

United offers plenty of club and societies to polish the specific skill and the interest of the students. The students association encourages the students to stay involved with such clubs to enhance their out-of-the-book knowkege about subjects and impart a sense of confidence when faced with real world challenges.ENIGMA event was organised every year, in which students take parts and shows their talent in the field of Robotics.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility was good mess food quality was good but not very good rate of hostel fees and mess food was in limit.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is created by our seniors and college staff and we can contact to seniors any time.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam
