DELHI TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY(Formely known as DCE)

I gave JEE MAINS and ADVANCED.If you want to go at IITs then JEE ADVANCED will be considered and if you want to go at other reputed institutions like NITS,DTU,IIITs,NSIT etc then JEE MAINS will be considered.I was getting every reputed institutions but I chose branch over IITs. For IITs,NITs there will be a counselling procedure,for that josaa counselling is there. And for DTU ,NSIT,IIIT Delhi they do their own counselling ,that is JAC DELHI.You will get every information regarding the form,fees ,brochure, dates from these two counseling bodies and their websites.Nothing as such problem in admission process.

Actually our first semester was expected to be online so the curriculum was made keeping the online point of view.Since,the covid cases reduced and the colleges were ordered to get reopened.But the curriculum didn't change which was right.So we were having continuous evaluation in our curriculum. Semester length was reduced to 4 months from 6 months due to covid.So we were having three class tests and two surprise tests out of which best two CTs and one best ST were supposed to be considered.Moreover there were mid term evaluation through projects and innovation. Practical and workshop classes are there and continuous viva was also there.So we were busy throughout the semester from the academics point of view.You will automatically get the environment which will push you to pass rather than failing.I chose ECE as it is an evergreen branch,you can go to any field be it govt, be it private,be it public,be it startups.Proper and spacious labs are there ,one student can perform easily.

I just completed my first semester yesterday,so I do not know much deeper information regarding this.But I know that internships are not meant for masses,so 15-30 students per branch able to do internships.

From 4th semester onwards you get eligible for internships and from 6th sem onwards you get eligible for placements.Almost everyone get placed.In ECE branch,in past batches 80% went to tech companies and remaining went to core, govt sector, startups, processor based field, digital and network security related fields etc.Almost every company visits the campus every year.Being an ECEian i am sharing a proud moment. Last year APPLE visited our campus and out of all competitors they picked only one from the campus and luckily she was a girl and and ECEian too.Average package lies between 14-18 Lpa.I want to go towards startup. Every top companies like Microsoft, Google,APPLE,Uber etc visits the campus every year.I guess more than 300 tech companies visits the campus every year.I do not about core companies.

Fees per year will be approximately equal to 2L.If you fall under any category then you can apply for many scholarships either availing it from college or Delhi government.Your tuition fees will automatically get refund. There is also scheme for scholarships for Batch toppers. Almost everyone got placed. If u come here ,u will automatically get an environment which will make you productive enough,so there is not much headache about placements.

College life is too awesome . Being a day scholar is painful.If u come DTU then try your level best to get campus life.In first semester I enjoyed three fests already.So the biggest fest of North India,the Engifest is held on 29-30 April.I am excited, 'crowd dekhne layak hoti h'.After engifest there will be yuvaan film and literature fest.Library is too big and designed very nicely,You will get everything there.Classrooms are large and spacious with proper sitting arrangements and WIFI.The college is full of extra curricular activities.There are hundreds and thousands of societies for that. Sports complex is there .You will find every game except swimming.A huge cricket ground is there, volleyball, basketball, tt and badminton courts are there. Few weeks back DTU TEAM went out to IIT kanpur for sports meet. And our volleyball team got gold medal beating all other IITs team, NSIT team.There are many websites run by out college students.
