Remarks

Admission selection was based on my hs marks, so fast and easy process. I have got a chance after scoring 84 per cent marks in HS. I found the application form from Google and admission fees was extremely low compared to other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because there are no other chances to get a job faster and our WB govt jobs are fewer day by day. So I chose private industries to get a job and I think we all should do this. Teachers are well qualified. They are PhD and masters in their subjects.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 6660 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I think our college fees are too low compared to other colleges because our semester fees are only 3330 and we get scholarships of 18000 per year so there is a lot of money saved after giving the college fees also.

Campus Life

The college campus is so big. We have a huge auditorium and also a huge playing ground. Also, lots of space to sit anywhere and discuss something about studies. We also have a hall room where held many functions.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

The course is very relevant as it provides us an overall knowledge of biology and not dividing it into various sections rather giving us an insight of every aspect of biology. It includes everything such as microbiology, zoology, botany, physiology, molecular biology and so on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

Placement Experience:

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Sc Computer Science Faculty: Student ratio is = 4:23 may vary a bit Faculty are well Qualified & Teaching method is okay good, but not to the mark like very good or excellent. The exam term was timely (sometimes it gets a bit late due to some natural disaster like cyclone, heavy rainfall, etc or any govt. & university delays), and the exam level is nearly too difficult, something like in between moderate to difficult.

The semester exams always took place on time time each year and exam dates were given in the notice board. The question difficulty level was quite easy The teachers are qualified to the requirements of eligibility. I chose this course since i have interest in computer science subject.

Admission is fully online mode and verification was offline mode, admission is based on merit score. There is no Entrance Exam for admission. Eligibility of the course 10+2 passed with math compulsory in 10+2, with a minimum percentage of 50% to 60% varying according to category.
