I took the VITMEE entrance examination, 463, My reason for joining VIT is because of education quality/system, campus, teaching & placements.

The course structure is good and advanced to another college. They provide a course according to the updated technologies which have been used in the current period and future. The course structure is good and advanced to another college.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, they do provide, but only for the people who are doing their Ph.D. within the university, the stipend would be around 20,000 with a minimum of 4 to 5 yrs of experience.

College Events

Cultural events of different states - according to the festival dates, College Feat - Riveria - in the month of Feb, which would take 1 wk long full of the fest, where many colleges would participate and conduct various events like sports, music, dance, technologies.

Admission

I wrote the VITMEE examination which is conducted by VIT University, every mid of May and got my results by end of the may month and got a call letter for counseling in the month of June and attend the counseling and later I got admission. In the month of July, the college got started.

ALL NAME NO WORK

Likes

The whole environment is pretty nice in the campus. The campus itself is pretty huge and there is so many place where we can sit and relax.
The teacher are friendly and easiy to approach for most of the times.
The cafe is also nice and is pretty affordable. It is clean too.

Dislikes

They have some nonsensical rules in the college. Some of the rules doesn't even make any sense.
The college doesn't follow a proper schedule and the time table is just for show.
There is still a problem for many stuffs if a girl and boy sit together and talk.

Placement Experience:

The college website shows the various placement opportunity the college offers and there are many great opportunities that our seniors got into. about 176 well known IT companies comes to this college for placement.

Downs!

Likes

Computer science lab was so big and it looks good
The green grass in the ground gives a positive mind
Main Library was too good and so calm so that we can spend peaceful time

Dislikes

Restrooms are not clean for a single day
More than 4 street dogs are roaming in the campus
During admission they said many placement companies will come but it was a lie

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took MCA to get placed into IT companies . The subjects in the MCA is very interesting but the students who studied UG course and then the pg course also in the same college then it is totally waste because they are studying the same subject again. Very bad thing is that in this college they are providing the same subjects and same syllabus for UG and PG students there is nothing different. But i have studies ug in other clg so for me it is different so i managed and it is interesting

Admission:

The candidates need to fill an registration form for applying for the UG and the PG coursed offered in the college with the registration fee.The demand draft should be paid to the Alagappa University Karaikudi. The fee would be reasonable for the application. It has its own entrance exams for all the integrated and post graduate coursed with the personal interview and the group discussion. The final selection of the candidates is done on the basis of the performance in group discussion and personal interview. Based on the merit the under graduate and the post graduate admissions are done.

In a single campus they have 15 educational institutions from kinder garden to PhD. Excellent infrastructure available. Free transportation available. Neat and separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls.

I am MCA student. Before two days I research on government school or private school. According to my information, in study point of view, private schools are good but fees point of view are not good because poor families cannot pay money for private facilities. According to my information, other facilities point of view private institutions good compare to government institution.

I didn't get enough score the entrance test appeared. The fees and other charges is affordable for me and college location and the campus is very good. So I opt this college. It is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Bharatiar University Coimbatore. Accredited by NAAC with A grade. It is also an ISO certified institution.
