Remarks

I have given the JEE Mains exam in 2021 in which I got a rank of 31967. Then I wait for the JOSAA councelling. When the councelling starts, I have already enlisted the college and then I got NIT Srinagar in the 6th JOSAA round. The overall admission process is online so it is very easy for everyone. Mainly the admission form of JEE mains comes after 12th board and the application fee is also nominal somewhat 700 rs. I don't have availed reservation benefits because I am. a general student.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course Curriculum of my branch i.e. IT is very good. My faculty members are also friendly and supportive in nature. They arrange extra classes for doubt sessions and also solve doubts. I chose IT because I want to go into the IT field for jobs. The student ratio is also good. The faculty members are well qualified and their teaching methods are also very good. Our term exams are according to the academic calendar.

Class Size: 87Course Fees: INR 210000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is the same as other NITs. There is also a scholarship for backward classes, PWD and also there is a scholarship for those whose family income is not so good. I don't come from a good family income. My family income is below 1 lakh. So I have availed scholarship for it.

Campus Life

From my point of view, overall college life is very good. There are many cultural fests, technical fests, and coding competitions named Semicolon which are organized every year. Our library has nearly all the relevant books for our semester exams and also there are many novels, etc for entertainment also There are separate grounds. Volleyball, basketball, football, cricket, etc. Also, there is a separate hall for Indore games like Chess, Table Tennis, Carrom, etc.

My opinion about nit

Likes

I like the diversity and culture of college students come from all states each festival is celebrated with fun .
The infrastructure is good providing facilities like library, amphitheatre, auditorium etc.
I like college ground where we can walk and relieve from academics

Dislikes

College infrastructure can be improved in rainy season there is water accumulation at many places , water drainage system should be there .

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester student become eligible for placement. The companies visited are L &T for civil which is big company and select many students, jsw for mechanical and increff , paypal , microsoft, visa ,make my trip for IT and CSE

Likes

One thing I liked about my college is Huge campus area.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in 8th semester. Companies like L&T construction, Ambuja cement, tata , wipro, jio , Berger, infosys, IBM and many more visit the college. Highest package is around 17 LPA and average package is around 5 LPA . Almost 30 percent students get placement. My plan is to get off campus placement.

Likes

College's weather is too pleasant and the air quality is also good
The environment is also very good and also the view is very nice
Seniors are very friendly in college and also the college has strict punishment for ragging.

Dislikes

The hostel food is not upto the level that a student expect.
The facility sometimes does not able to connect with Students
Hostels are very far away from the department and students have to move very far from the hostel

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is Average and the students are eligible in 7 semester for placement. If the student has any backlog in any of the semester they can't sit in the college placement and also it has minimum criteria of 6.5 cgpa. The percentage of students getting placement is very low sadly

A comprehensive Review

Likes

Firstally i like in my college is hostel it is located in college campus .
The second thing like in my college is campus area located in between mountain.
the last thing is about one teacher he help me in everything.

Dislikes

The first thing i do not like is transport in my college it is the major problem in my college.
The second thing is there are no proper lectures everyday one of them faculty is absent
The last thing is not a proper medical facielities

Placement Experience:

The placement at my college are fairly strong, with a focus on proving opportunities for student in both technical field and non-technical fields. various reputed companies visit our campus for placement like TCS, infosys, and many more.The highest package aroun INR 40 LPA. the majority of the offers are for cybersecurity. My plan is for business after the degree.

The faculties are top notch and very supportive and helpful
Campus life is good because it is very large campus area
We have isro and drdo in our campus which is a very good thing

Dislikes

the university is still under construction
their is limited access of resourses as it is under construction

I get this college Throgh JOSAA ( baised on Jee Mains Rank ) . This college stands good in academics but in management it needs improvement . NIT srinagar : A place signifying Majesty of nature and a ground for academic growth
