The admission process of kiet happens every the month of July and August but due to the pandemic sessions starting late. Uttar Pradesh state entrance examination (UPSEE) scores a state-level engineering entrance test conducted by AKTU, are required for the KIET admission process. Reservations are given only to that student who belong to Uttar Pradesh. The basic criteria needed to be eligible for admission to KIET GROUP OF INSTITUTION, Ghaziabad. Admission to both B.tech and B Pharm is based on a valid score in UPSEE counselling. 85% seats of the total seats in both the courses are reserved for students who qualify for UPSEE counselling. The remaining 15% of seats are filled under the management quota.

Well, I choose electrical and electronics courses because I am not different from others, who are following the trend to do B.Tech.The faculty at the KIET is highly experienced and consist of 450+ well-qualified members. They provide guidance to the students through their experience. The faculty members are helpful and supportive and have a proper understanding of their area of expertise. Most of the faculty are PhD holders and they impart quality education and help the students to unleash their potential.

Students can go for internships whenever they feel they are ready. Companies like- TCS, IBM, Infosys, and Amazon come for internships in the 5th semester or you can yourself apply for other companies. Different companies provide different stipends like - TCS, IBM, and Infosys provide a 15k-20k stipend for every month while big product-based companies like- Amazon, and Microsoft provide around 60k-90k as per skills required.

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Big MNC as well as product-based companies like - Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, IBM, Infosys, etc. The highest package recorded this year was around 44Lpa and the average was around 5 LPA. From a computer science, background around 80 - 85 % of students got placed and from core branches around 70- 75% of students got placed. My plans are to get placement only and not think of higher education right now.

In my department, per semester fees are 119499 along with 90000 for hostelers. There are many private and government scholarships for girls as well as boys. Also whenever in need, the college's administration is already to help as always.

The college's tech fest is called 'INNOTECH' which is mostly conducted in November and December. Also, the college's cultural fest 'EPOQUE 'and 'PRASTUTI' are conducted in may month. The college supports many sports like cricket, volleyball, football etc.

We got the hostel build by kiet itself. In it we are given all the basic facilities such as dustbin, mirror, Almira, curtains, etc as well as room are big enough to accommodate 3 peoples. Hostel's Mess food is also great. We are given desserts 4 times a week and the food is decent enough. The hostel registration process was done online mode only and the allotment was on basis of ones who live far enough as compared to others. I took the hostel provided by my institution only.
