Remarks

Admission process is very simple you have to give entrance test that is separate for Aligarh Muslim University from JEE Mains and other engineering exams you will get a merit list and according to get you will get admission in different states according to the merits you have got

Course Curriculum Overview

I have interesting coding as well as in hardware also so I opted electronics engineering as it will provide before the things. The faculty is very good we have brilliant professors that that is done there education from great Institute from Germany from Canada from USA etc there is a very good culture we have a great relation with our professor the student ratio is 60 in my batch batch out of which 17 are girls there are Total two semester per year so we are having 8 semester exams are timely after 4 to 5 months

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 5640 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement starts after the seven semester we have to fill up form and tell the college that how many students wants placement how many hours to go for the education it is around 60% placement percentage in my college and the average packages is around 7 lpa. Many companies come in the campus. My plan is very simple as I have placed in four companies I will go for one and will start my Cooperative sector

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is such that you have to pay 17000 when you take the admission for the first year and for the rest 3 years it is only 5640 so it is very affordable anyone from poor background can also get a admission if he wants to do something in his life there is no high policy and post to study and even if you are not able to pay such amount you will get scholarship also

Campus Life

There are many camp clubs and extra curriculum activities in the campus there are Horse Riding Club swimming drama club etc. In Engineering college there are separate clubs like Robotics club etc. They are various Association like art faculty where you can do anything that you want. We are having Auditorium also in the campus. The buildings are such great. The asia's largest libraries also there that is Maulana Azad.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

A Glimpse of Life in Aligarh Muslim University

I chose this college mainly because of the less fees structure and the greenary campus , a good place to study. Moreover, I'm preparing for govt exams also, so the time needed during M.tech. is enough to focus on exams too. Also, I don't want any gap between the study and job as we have to justify later during interview (the year gaps , if any). Moreover , lot of opportunities are also possible in foreign countries too , and we are also eligible for Assistant professor post (if any). I applied for Jamia Millia Islamia too , but was in waiting list , so i decided to join Aligarh Muslim University and I'm grateful that i did so....Read More

I applied for this college only. Highly affordable fee of course and hostel fee. Hostel provides us so many facilities in a very basic pay of 1500 per month including mess and other things. For m.ed we have to prepare for an entrance test. Forms of amu m.ed are generally out during january- march period. The paper is of 100 marks, only mcq, based on core papers of b.ed. the cutoff is around 55+ for general+external candidate and 40+ for internal. The admission process is smooth and easy. We have to check the official website and everything is online, both counselling and admission . The hostel is alotted directly during the admission....Read More
