Remarks
GL Bajaj is good in terms of placements but here students are made to sit 9-5 because of strict 75% criteria. Things start to get better in 2nd year as they relax a few norms. Overall teachers are supportive and they guide you. and the studies are much better than any other private college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to pursue this course because I wanted to be a civil Engineer. Here faculty: student ratio is 1:30. Many faculties have qualified from iits, nits and other government colleges. Here internal exams are conducted 2 times in a semester and the level of toughness in exams is quite decent.
Internships Opportunities
I am in the 4th semester currently so I have not been seated for internships. But as far as I have heard many students have been offered internships with a decent stipend. Although students have to make projects in order to showcase their skills
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. There are 200+ companies visiting GL Bajaj each year for recruitment and each student almost gets 2 offers on an average. The highest this year was 30+ LPA and the average is 5 lakh LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Rarely the fees are hiked and each year they charge a sum of 1.45 lakhs per year. Hostel costs 95k per year. The fee structure is decent and not very expensive. They provide scholarships through the state government's scheme. students who are deserving of the scholarship get one.
Campus Life
There are many books in the library of different authors based on different subjects and topics. The library is centrally air-conditioned. Classrooms are not air-conditioned and the classroom structure is decent. There is football, Futsal, basketball, volleyball and badminton field in the campus.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rent is quite high, as you have to pay 95k per year for 3 seater room and also with no air-conditioner. You have to make arrangements on your own to tackle scorching summer. The mess food is quite good as compared to other hostels.
