Remarks

Well I cannot say any thing negative about this college. Our management serves with dedication and valour and support us all the time.I can't be more lucky to be a part of this reputed institution. The more I will say the less it will sound,Its a complete jolly experience to be a part of our college and excel and learn more, and lead your college life with extreme fun.

Entrance Preview

I actually took lateral entrance at this college ,I came form diploma background. To take admission on lateral entry on any college you have to give lateral examination.I took IPU lateral examination test I got 1523 rank but didn't got chance as I was from outside Delhi and for that my rank was not enough. So, DPGITM called me up and I took admission on lateral; entry in Computer Science Stream.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

To be more honest our course curriculum one of its kind. Its moulded with all kinds of nice subjects which in turn makes our curriculum more diversified. The course which is being more creative with all kinds of subjects and practicals which gave us pretty daunting experience and made us fall in love with our course more.I am not exaggerating this is true to my knowledge. I cannot be more prompt about my course curriculum Its really nice and made us learn nice subjects and gave pretty hefty knowledge about all the subjects with fun.

Internships Opportunities

Yes,The Training and placement cell of our college provides us with really nice internships and job opportunities. The TPO of our college finds really nice companies and arranges various internship offers from top MNC's . I an really grateful to get various opportunities to excel in my life with the help of college. The general stipend provided by companies depends on the student and the company how much they will pay you.

Placement Experience

3.5

The Placement Cell is headed by our TPO the coordinator. The Cell is led by the Placement officer along with the Placement Advisory Board which consists of Professors and final year students from various departments. Initially the companies are invited to take part in the recruitment drive. Those interested respond and thus register with us for the year for recruitment. The students are intimated and a vast number register for the interview. The interview process usually starts with a Power Point Presentation where the company enlightens the students about their company profile. Those interested then go for the interview, which usually comprises of a written test followed by group discussion and personal interview. The job scenario today is facing the onslaught of ground breaking competition from all fields; and employment into good companies and organisations has become a daunting task. So, for the benefit of its students preparing to face the job market, the DPGITM Placement Cell has risen to the occasion and has successfully aided in providing opportunities and employment to its outgoing students.

College Events

4

College fests can have the following events in their campus - Paintball A game where players (in teams) compete to eliminate opponents by shooting them with guns that throw water-soluble dye balls. Build a maze in the college ground with materials from a local exhibition centre. That should give you minimum 5 hours of total fun! Mimic a Music Band All colleges have great musicians and freshers bands. Instead of a normal rock-on like jamming competition, you can have all the participating bands mimic a popular mainstream band of their choice. The one who is closest in mimicking (Everything from clothes, hairdos, equipment, style of performance etc.) should win! Mock CID (Way better than a treasure hunt!) Create an interesting on-campus murder story. Have multiple participating teams. Leave clues tracing back to the murder on the campus. The clues should lead to witnesses (volunteers should be asked to role play) and the one who finds out the real murderer first wins! You can have a back story and leave clues all around the campus, along with dummies acting as dead bodies, and have some volunteers act as witnesses. Ice Cream Sticks Modelling For both individual and group entries. Give only ice cream sticks and glue (you can add thread or match sticks or newspaper also) as material. Give an elaborate task. The participants are supposed to use the sticks to build a structure that should achieve the goal. For instance: Build a bridge that holds a standard size mobile phone for at least one whole minute. Or Build a boat out of the matchsticks that will take a mobile phone from one edge of a water body to another.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Management education is having huge demand in India as well as in the Abroad also.Fee structure for management education will be depends on the institute where you are pursuing B tech course. In India different kind of institutes are providing management education.Fee structure for management education will be available between Rs.28,000 to Rs.25,00,000/-.First you have to decide which institute that you want to do MBA course. In India we are having Tier1 ,Tier2 and Tier 3 Business schools. In Tier 3 institutes fee structure for management education will be between 60,000 to 1,00,000/- per two year full time MBA course. In Tier2 MBA schools fee structure will be between 2 lakhs to 9 lakhs. Fees and Financial Aid

Yes,each semester they provide us with scholarship facility as some really bright students get the opportunity to avail those scholarships as they score really well on their semester exams.in addition the university also provides scholarship facility to all the toppers.

Campus Life

2.5

It’s been widely researched, documented and debated. But even with all the attention, the nation’s colleges and universities have made little progress in closing the gender gap in academic leadership. Despite the fact that more than half of India's population is female, and the gender ratio among college and university students has been increasingly favoring women for nearly 50 years, higher education institutions don’t get very good grades in terms of hiring and promoting female leaders. Research by the American Council on Education has found that only 27 percent of deans of academic colleges and 26 percent of college or university presidents are women.

Hostel Facilities

3

The mess food is like..a hard earned food after a long day of college. Its like heaven for hostel students the 3 tier meal really wants us to drool over it. The Hostel facilities are really nice..I mean I really found my second home. rooms are very comfortable and they flaunt sheer luxury life of a engineering student. I want to advice to all the future aspirants and members of our college hostel to be more ephemeral about the facilities and really you will find heavens accommodation.

Alumni/Alumna

Our college alumni network and senior students are really one of there kind, I mean seriously get my sarcasm .I really do not hope that I will get any help from seniors. Our college maintains less contact with its alumnus members ,that's why our mode of communication with them is like a blinking light.

Exam Structure

Every semester consists of 6 theory subjects and practicals. Even if you've got the right level of grammar and vocabulary for your written exam, there's one more thing you need to be good at to get the best marks: having ideas and organising them. And you need to be able to get that done in about ten minutes. Failing to plan essays is one of the biggest reasons candidates fail their writing exam. There are two reasons why you should never overlook this stage. It gives you a structure to follow and ideas to include so you actually save time while writing. You don't want to have to think about writing correct English and varying your vocabulary at the same time as coming up with ideas! If you run out of time at the end of the exam, at least you have some notes which you could quickly add as sentences to round off the final couple of paragraphs. This way the examiner can see that you had a complete idea and a conclusion for your essay, so you'll lose fewer marks for organisation and cohesion. Many candidates get stuck at the brainstorming stage. The good news is that, just like with anything else, practice is the answer.

Admission

I got a call from the college authority for getting admission ,I accepted their invitation and I showed up for admission. Now for getting admission I have to produce m,y mark sheets and all admit cards of all the examinations I took,as I was from diploma background I have to produce its mark sheets and certifications. The following are the documents that I produce for admission: 1. Admit card of Class 10 2. Mark sheet of Class 10 3. Migration certificate of Class 10 4. Diploma Admit card 5. Mark sheet of Diploma Semesters 6. Provisional Certificate 7. Migration Certificate

They really bring out the best in us.I am really glorified to get these kind of faculty members. I cannot say more about other streams faculty members but our stream has the best faculty in the college. They support us through out the SEMESTER to EARN good marks and get a better life. The whole experience with our faculty members is really nice and happening.

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.

About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package.
