thorough cse avg placement was 30 lakhs per annum. The sports part is good. The college promotes a sporting culture. Seniors are of utmost help. Ragging incidents are almost nill. Hostel facilities are good. For the first year, you get 3 times a meal + snacks in the evening. Food is average not very bad as most of us think. The hostel and college are very near so a bicycle is not needed. In the hostel, you get a LAN internet connection with high-speed internet so that students can study. If you are choosing NIT Jamshedpur then it's the best place in Jharkhand after IIT. So best of luck.

This course gives a very good placement. The placement record for the ECE branch is almost 100%. Along with that after the second year 60-70 students get internships. These are the best factors about the branch. Faculty has admitted new teachers in recent years so they are not very experienced so their teaching is dull. But older teachers are good. All faculty are either P.Hd or P.Hd pursuing. Along with them, the M.Tech seniors are also there to help you in labs. We have Mid-semester exams and end-semester exams. Questions come from the notes taught by the teachers in the class. One needs to regularly attend classes that are more than enough for exams. With a little bit of effort before exams, one can score above average marks.

Most companies that visit the college like Flipkart, Amazon, grow, and many other such companies give internships to students. Most of the time people get a pre-placement offer(PPO) after the internships. The roles offered in an internship are very basic. They just give the first-hand experience of the industry. The more number of projects there are on CV one gets higher chance of placement and internship.

On off-campus, people get placed from the 3rd year onwards. But on-campus placement starts in the 4th year and runs throughout the year. Almost all companies that visited made offers to students most students had 2-3 offers at hand. the highest placement for on-campus use was 72 lakh per annum for Ece it was around 45 lakhs per annum. Whereas on off-campus 1cr package was bagged by 2-3 students. almost all eligible students get placed. The median salary for Ece was 16 lakh per annum and avg placement was 18 lakh per annum. For core branches, placement stats are quite promising although the CTC is not high yet almost all students get placed. I plan to get h good job post completion of the course.

You get a fee remission of 100% of your family income ( mother's+ fathers)is less than 1lakh. You need to submit a pan card and all such documents of your both parents along with a financial certificate issued by gov authority. If family income lies between 1lakh - 5 lakh 2/3 of the fee is remitted. Although after this one needs to pay the institution fee which is Rs25000 per sem along with Rs16000 for mess and hostel. The job placements are very promising one needs to be capable enough to bag a job. There is limitless opportunity. The placement for 4th year run throughout the year. We have summer internship programs which is very good for industry experience.

There are many fests conducted throughout the year. Some are Urja for sports then we have tech fest(Ojas). The library has many books and issuing books is not an issue. There is a reading room in the library so one can study there silently. The classroom is fully AC rooms. The new Academic building has all the amenities. lifts water filters for drinking water, clean hygienic toilets, and other amenities. There are numberless clubs related to everything one is interested in. Literary and debate sports dance music acting car making ( solar cars, battery cars) airplane making clubs. Along with this, you have spiritual clubs for spiritual growth. Yoga, and NSS life skills are also an integral part. All the clubs are run by students. From website building updating to organizing some events, everything is done by students.

The room in 1st year is 2 seater for boys and 3 seaters for girls. Boys get single rooms from the 2nd year but unfortunately, girls need to adjust in the same. The room contains 2 beds two cupboards for both students a single LAN port( which may or may not work according to your luck). Fan tube light and nightlight. Every room has windows. A single table and chair are provided in the first year. In the second year, every boy gets a single room with all the above amenities. The registration process for a hostel is simple. Rooms are allocated on a roll number basis.
