Remarks
Got shortlisted in many top colleges in Kolkata but chose this one because of its good quality of professors, lovely location, mode and way of teaching. Belonged to the General category but as my percentage was good enough got selected in the first list itself. The minimum mark required for getting in is 85+ percentile. The admission process was very easy as they made it seem. Just went inside and submitted my documents and after verification, I became a Jaipurian.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is just like any other college in Kolkata providing the same syllabus and contents but what made this college stand out was its quality of professors and ease of teaching. They are really friendly and anyone would fall in love with their discipline and student-teacher relation. All the professors are highly qualified with some being M.Com, M.Phil, PhD, CA, CMA, and LLM qualified degree holders. The exams were conducted timely throughout and we even had pre-final exams to enhance our preparation.
Fees and Financial Aid
As it is a sub government aided college, the fees were the bare minimum as compared to other private colleges providing the same degree. It was around 3000/year. (1500/sem). We had 6 semesters and after the 4th semester Covid broke out and thankfully our college didn't even charge a single rupee from the students, such support they are
Campus Life
The campus life is amazing but would say we didn't have any such social events except two or three. We were mainly focused on our syllabus and at times we had Intra college debate competitions for gaining knowledge on new stuff and having ideas to expose ourselves to a huge audience. We have a huge library with more than 20000+ books from all departments.
