Very good college life and 100% placement

Taking admission in DTU you need to get a rank upto 20000 in jee mains for SC category then you are eligible to take admission in DTU . When you full fill this criteria then you need to apply for JAK counselling. From this counselling you will get admission form of various top government colleges in India and DTU is one of them. Application fees is rs 2000. If you are SC or ST students then you will get this form of Rs 800.

If I talk about the course curriculum then it has the same curriculum of engineering as present in all other engineering colleges. A good feature is that students have a choice from second year onwards to choose some subjects of their own choice. These are known as elective subjects. Talking about the exams, students must have a minimum of 75% attendance in their semester then they are eligible to appear in exams. There are mid-Sem starting after 1.5 months after the sem starts. You need to submit assignments and class tests as they carry marks too. And at the last, we have end Sems which are 50 marks covering the entire syllabus.

There are internship comes in DTU for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year students. The difference is that internships offered to 2nd-year students are unpaid. These internships are also necessary to gain experience. From 3rd year onwards paid Internships are available. I am currently doing an internship at Infosys for the role of a backend developer. My major task in this internship is to find the bug in the projects done by the company's employees. Before doing this the company which is providing the internship will give us training. So overall good experience.

Placements are very good. The average package is around 25 lakhs. Big MNCs arrive in DTU like Google, Microsoft, FAANG companies come to give us placement. Recently Microsoft arrived in DTU for placement and taken many coding and interview rounds to shortlist the students. Last year highest package was given by google of 1.04 crores for the post of SDE (software developer engineer). Lowest package was give by phone pe of around 20 lakhs. All the students will get placed. 100% placement guaranteed by DTU. My plans after getting degree is to do jobs in one of the great MNCs.

The fees is around 190000 and increase every year by Rs 2000. There is a scholarship policy at DTU but to be able to get the scholarship you need to get at least 90% in your semester. Even if you get a 90% score then only 5 students are eligible for scholarships. That will be decided by DTU itself. I don't know what is their algorithm to select these 5 students. We can give our college fees in 3 installments also. I am not eligible for a job right now but doing an internship in Infosys at the stipend of Rs 30000 for the post of a backend developer.

Engifest(fest of DTU) is really really awesome. A good budget is there to do this fest. In my first year, the very famous singer late sidhu moosevala arrived to DTU and the crowd was something worth to see. Around 10 lakhs students are there to see him. Also there are many activities to do and a lot of good foods to eat in the fest. This year a very famous actor Kartik Aryan arrived in the engifest. There is a very beautiful DTU lake, which is very impressive. There are live seminars in DTU every Sunday about new latest technology. A library is a place where a DTU students will go many times, it looks like a 5* hotel. New technologies are there present inside the library. Every year latest edition of books arrives to the library. We can issue a maximum of 5 books at a time. DTU is very active in its sports. All kind of sports are there in this college like wrestling, skating, cricket, football, basketball etc. A core team is present of each sport.

I am living in a hostel in which 4 students can live in 1 room. The fees is rs 80000. There are more categories of rooms available. A room for 6 students at a cost of Rs 60000. A room for 2 students at a fees of Rs 100000. A room for 1 student at a fees of Rs 120000. In all these categories 1 Ac, wardrobes (depending on the number of students), table, bunk beds are available. Wifi is available in each room with a speed of 50 mbps, a good quality gym is provided for the students. Breakfast timing starts from 8:30am to 9:15am. Lunch timings are from 3:30pm to 5:00pm. Chai coffee starts from 6:00pm. Dinner timings starts from 8:00pm to 10:00pm. Quality of food is good. Both veg and non veg foods are available. It is like a buffet.
