VMMC A Temple for Medical Students

The eligibility to get admission in BSc MLT is just you have to Pass class 12th with minimum 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. You will get the admission after qualifying IPU-CET Paramedical according to your rank. You can get the application form and details regarding application form on the official website of IP University. There are benefits of reservation in seats for SC,ST,OBC and EWS category students.

I choosed this course because of my interest in Medical Field. And MLT is a field which gives you exposure in different areas of medical field. And one of the reason was that I got VMMC in first round of counselling. The faculties in VMMC are very qualified and enthusiastic and they also have very good communication skills. There are so many teachers in every department of VMMC. Each and every teacher is a qualified Doctor and many of them have an experience of more than 10Years. The teaching method is very good and students friendly. They use smart board, projectors and different gadgets to give the best experience to the student. There will be 2 Internal Assessments in each year and a final University Exam at the end of year.

The college fees is minimal and it is only 10K/annum but there is University fees also which is 15-16K/annum which makes the annual fees 25-26K/annum for the course. And there will be a security deposit of 5K in first year which will be refunded after the completion of course. There are different scholarships by Delhi Government for the EWS and SC,ST,OBC students. And there is a merit cum-means linked financial assistance scheme also for all the students. After completion of BSc MLT degree from the college there will be no placements from the college. And this is the only worst thing about the course. The students only get a certificate of 6months internship certificate from college.

The annual fest named Nirvana occurs every year in the month of February. There are lot of books of different subjects and different well knowned authors in the library which are available free of cost. After the admission you will get 2 library cards and you can issue one book on each library card for 15days which is totally free of cost. The lecture theatres and demo rooms are well furnished and fully air conditioned with very good cushioning. There is an annual sports league named VMMC Premier League which gives the opportunity to students to play different types of indoor and outdoor games. There is website for MLT students which is run by the students named Pirates of VMMC.
