Remarks

There is no seperate entrance exam for this college. One has to apply to the college using their 12th class percentage and JEE Mains score (if appeared).A list of ranks will be declared on the last date of applications. Based on these ranks stundents chose their branch .One can Easily apply thorugh online website of college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Initially i choose ECE. But later on moved to CSE as i have intrest in Computers. Coming to the faculty, there are enough members to take care of all the students. Most of the professors are well qualified.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies which offere job have also given an internship oppurtunities for the selected candidates. Those who didn't have any intern can do the in house projects to complete their credits. Periodical reviews would be conducted to check the progress of students.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for the placements if they maintain the standards mentioned for placements. Placements start from the 6 semester itself.More than 200 companies visited for the placements. Some major companies have recruited only girls as per their requirement. This college is well known for its placements. So there is no need to worry regarding this.

Fees and Financial Aid

Initial year fee depends on the year of joining. Thereafter there will be a 5% hike every year. Fee have to be paid for each semester seperately. There are 2 types of scholarships available for merits. Dean's Merit scholarship and hostek scholarship.

Campus Life

There were 3 fests in our college namely Colloseum,Daksh and Kuruksastra. One for sports ,one for techincal fest and the other for cultural one. There are many clubs one can join based on their intrest and skills.

Hostel Facilities

Accomodation is Averageand one can adjust to it. All basic amenities will be provided. But there is no hot water facilty. Coming to the food, I personally liked the hygeine but need to compromise on the taste.

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

The reason i choose this college because of the really good placements available in it. The different between the college i applied for and sastra will be Reputation: In my surroundings sastra have a great goodwill and Reputation compared to other colleges. Placements: sastra provide wide range of placements and opportunities while other colleges have limited options. Academic: sastra provide a great faculty , other diploma to add on which adds great value and research opportunities.
