Remarks
I took admitted to the KIET group of admission through UPTU counselling. Last year's counselling was based upon jee mains score but there is a separate exam for UPTU. Students of Uttar Pradesh are given preference first.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the CSIT branch as it is a new branch and has lots of opportunities. The faculty is also highly qualified and have a good method of teaching. There are so many faculty for each branch who are always ready to help students. The exam's difficulty level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities
Colleges are highly involved in providing internship to the students. Students are themselves capable of getting internships with a good stipend. Students are involved in making projects and are well prepared for industries.
Placement Experience
From sixth-semester students start getting placed in various companies at decent packages. Almost every student is placed till the last semester. The average package is seven lakhs per annum. Last year the highest packagr offered was 43 lakhs by amazon.
Fees and Financial Aid
The average fee of the course is 126000 for one year. And around one lakh for a hostel. The scholarship is generally provided by the government. Mostly all the students are placed from within the campus and at a decent package.
Campus Life
There are not a lot of fests but there are so many activities available if you are a part of any college club. Books are provided by the college itself you don't have to invest in books. There are so many sports available like cricket, badminton, football, basketball etc.
Hostel Facilities
There is a separate hostel for each year's students which is very good. The quality of food is up to the mark with varieties. Rooms are cleaned on weekly basis. The registration process for a hostel is first to come first take.
