Great faculty with average infrastucture

Overall the college has got good education quality and a mix of extra curricular activities. But it does lack when it comes to industry exposure or campus life. It also does not have proper facilities for sports either indoor or outdoor.

I did not have to take any entrance exam. They intake students based on their 12th std marks in which I scored 72%. I opted for this college because it is the best college in nasik in terms of quality of education and extra curricular activities.

The course curriculum is very good as it has been decided by Savitribai Phule Pune University.In the first two years there are no electives and every student has to study the same subjects which range from management to marketing and communication skills to IT. In the final year three specializations are offered which are Finance, Marketing and Human Resource.

The college believes in practical approach to learning and hence they provide internship opportunities to every student. The general stipend is around Rs.3000 per month. The experience gained during the course of internship is very valuable.

They do not offer placement services as all the students either want to pursue further education or join their family business. But if the student wants to get placed then he can put in a request to the faculty responsible for that and he will be given opportunities with some local companies.

There are various events that take place in the college. One such event is Udaan which is a state level inter collegiate competition in which various competitions are conducted. Another event is the annual sports event in which there are inter departmental matches. There is also a bi annual cultural event known as Indradhanushya.

The fee structure is decided by the university and so it is feasible for most of the students to pay. Also facility is given for the students to pay the fees in installments. If the student wants to work part time in the college he is given opportunity to do that.

The college offers scholarship to the students who are the rank holders for a year. Other scholarships are offered to them by the university based on their caste.

The campus life is non existent as not many students live in hostels. The gender ratio is very good with 60% students boys and 40% students girls. There are many extracurricular activities like debate competitions, poster making competition, industrial visits etc.

It is not compulsory to avail hostel facility or mess food so I was not living in the hostel so I do not know about the hostel facilities or the quality of mess food. But from what I have heard from my colleagues the hostel is very strict and the mess food is good.

There is an alumni group present but they are not very active. They do not interact with the students and only arrange a blood donation camp throughout the year on republic day.

There are 3 exams which need to be given. 2 are internal and 1 is university exam. The university exam timetable is decided by the university and the internal exam timetable is decided by the college. The internal exams form the basis of the internal marks given by the college to the student.

To get admission in the institute you need to go to the college and fill an admission form. At the same time they have a counselor for you who guides you as to which course is most suitable for you. After that they display a list around a month before the start of the term.

All the faculty of the institute are very well qualified and have in depth knowledge of their subject. They follow a teaching approach in which presentations are made by them and also the students have to give presentations. They are very interested to teach a new topic to student even if it is out of syllabus and the student wants to learn it.
