VIIT an Autonomous institute

The eligibility criteria are you need to pass class 12th examination after that you have to appear for mht cet examination. on that merit basis, you can get into this college. all the addmission process is under of Maharashtra govt, and all the applications and important dates are visible on their site.

I had an interest in coding from 11th std only that's why I have chosen computer engineering in this college. the course curriculum is great as the college is autonomous course gets updated on daily basis. the faculties are great and highly educated with most of the having PhD degrees or pursuing PhD. in each class we have approximately 78 students and for each subject, we have more than 2 faculties. there is a normal semester pattern and the exams are quite easy to crack compared to Pune university exams as college is autonomous.

the internship offers are quite decent. the college offers various types of internships to students in various domains. The college has great relations with industrial companies. which offers various projects where students are paid to work on those projects.

the placements are quite decent. the average package for the year 2021 was 7 LPA And the highest package offered was 30 LPA. FINLQ and Tavisca are some of the companies which were given the highest packages. companies like Infosys, HCL, Wipro etc are mass recruiters, more than 100 students placed in each of them,cse department has the highest placements and lowest is for civil. more than 50% of students placed and most of the chose higher studies. I am not going to take placements as I am preparing for MBA.

I was not eligible for any scholarship. the college fees are 168853 and for each year the fees are approximate and remain constant. there are many scholarships available offered by the Maharashtra government. the on-campus placements are great and there is a placement cell available in the college for students. Internship offers are also great.

the campus life is great. we see people with different cultures and different ideas. there is a lot to explore. the annual fest of college is Gandharva. which is mostly held in the month of December and January. all the students actively take participation in this. also, all clubs and societies are highly active and whole year club events are going on. the library is good and more than 50000 plus books are available. the library is open till 6 pm. There is also a sports event in college where inter-department competitions are carried out. the college also focuses on extracurricular activities like there is a club called avishkar is for acting and dancing. there are many clubs like EDC i.e. entrepreneurship cell, rotaract, sec, ece all are run by students only.
