Internships Opportunities

As i am currently in 3rd semester of the B.Tech programme i don't have first hand knowledge about the internships and the stipends offered but based on what my seniors have told me i will write about it here. The companies coming to the college are not the very famous ones or maybe i have not heard about them much. The famous companies coming to the college are L&T, Jaypee, DLF, Tata. The internship stipends offered are generally between 10k to 15k per month.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are well as compared to other local colleges in Himachal Pradesh with nearly 80% of the total eligible students getting placed in the end. The core companies which came to the college are Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, Amazon, Zomato, L&T, DLF, Jaypee. The average package offered is nearly 4.5 to 5 lakhs per annum. In details, infosys offered 4 lakhs per annum, cognizant and wipro offered 3.7 lakhs per annum, amazon offered 21 lakhs per annum, zomato offered 8.5 lakhs per annum, L&T offered 5.5 lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about any loan facilities being offer by the college nor i have heard of it. The college does not awards any scholarships to the students as well.

campus placement is good to moderate means is great avg package is 600000 as of my b.tech cse. yes for eligible for campus by 75% attendance , have to not a backlog in any sem need to pass each semester .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Updated to align with NEP-2020 guidelines starting from 2023 onward. CSE (AI & DS) branch includes modern subjects like Data Science, Machine Learning, Python, Cloud basics. Core branches (ECE, ME, EE, CE) follow standard Indian engineering frameworks with essential subjects. Syllabus similar to other govt engineering colleges under HP Tech University, so fairly up to date.

Placements are average , it totally depends on the students skills and their cgpa. From 5th sem students become eligible for campus placements. TCS, Infosys, Redhat vistited the campus and made more than 200 offers. 171+ companies visited. Highest package is 1.11cr, average is 6lpa. 70% students gets placed. Planning to go in tech related jobs in industries after getting the degree.

Worst management ever.they are not helpful at any things.they only make fake promise at start but no promises had been fulfilled. No placement no extra curriculum no events no sports no clubs nothing at all.I don't know how I spend my time in that college

JUIT- beautiful place

I applied in thapar, jiit, juit and Manipal. I got admission in all of them but I chose juit. I didn't go to jiit because my parents thought that environment of juit would be better. Also they were a bit hesitant to me living in Delhi for my graduation as people are very young during graduation. Didn't choose manipal as juit was better in every aspect other than placements. Juit is good

I had got admission in Jaypee noida but in 128 sector and also stream was IT which I didn't preferred so I left that.
