Bachelor's degree in Life sciences is a three year full time degree. The scope of the degree is vast if proper guidance is available. One can pursue teaching course after doing b.ed , or if you are interested in research career you can go for masters followed by phd in relevant field. Eligibility to take admission in University of Delhi for the course of life sciences is to have Biology, chemistry and physics in the senior secondary level. One can refer to Delhi University official website for applying in the course . Before 2022 the admission process was through merit list but from now onwards the admission to the University of Delhi will be through entrance exam of CUET conducted by NTA annually. CUET pattern will be as follow:- general test which will include ( reasoning,maths , general knowledge and English) and domain subjects. Admission in Delhi University was through merit list and i got selected accordingly. After the entrance cutoff list will be issued and students can go ahead

Life sciences compromises of three core subjects zoology botany and chemistry. There will be 6 semesters in three years . Life sciences is a full time course of three years.Faculty members of all three department viz zoology botany and chemistry helps students in every way possible.

Fees is nominal and paid annually. For each year there will be a sum of of approximately 12k-15k that has to be paid per year. Although scholarships are available for students as well. Academic scholarships are given based on results of examination.

University of Delhi, especially Deshbandhu college is so fascinating when it comes to fest as during such period, buzz of excitement, craziness among students can be felt. Library is well maintained with a separate reading room and hall . Books of nearly all subjects are present and can be issued to the students with a college Id. Infrastructure is good and college is spacious with newly constructed buildings. There are many cultural clubs like drama ,music, nukkad natak, games and so on.
