Remarks

I gave the CUCET scholarship entrance exam for admission and got 85% in the exam and got myself a 40% of scholarship to the university. It was an easy exam and it was beneficial to me. Because it was hard for my family to provide me with these kinds of studies but CU got me lucky by providing me with a scholarship.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course was my dream career so I chose this course. The faculty and student ratio is pretty good over here. The faculty is well qualified. Most of them have master's degrees and teach very well. The exams are pretty easy and taken very well.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

As I'm in the 3rd year, there were not any internships provided to us by our college until now, but I think they will provide our internships at the end of the 3rd year, I.e. in the 6th semester. But as I've heard from my seniors, they provide us internships with good companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is pretty affordable but I gave CUCET scholarship exam. There are many more scholarships like merit-based scholarships, scholarships according to caste, and many more. Study loans are also provided by the college to the students.

Campus Life

Campus life is pretty good. Students are very friendly. They are many social clubs run by students. The campus provides different types of curricular activities to us. In my opinion, all types of books are available in the library.

Best but not the great.

Likes

Overall college environment, infrastructure, behaviour and everything is good expect what I have not mentioned is overall poor or not good condition

Dislikes

I dislike many things from top to bottom.

Placement Experience:

Yes, placement drive so comes to college it's solely on the student ability to crack their dream package. Student have opt a pretty handful package. Once again I say it's all depends upon the student to opt for INCAMPUS OR OUTCAMPUS.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The examination difficulty is depends on how you studied but in this collage difficulty level is little bit though but if you studies well then it will be easier for you and the examination halll will strict no support or no copying

Think once to take admission in Chandigarh University.

Likes

Infrastructure of University is really nice.
Hostel Cafe's are open till 12 mid night
Faculty of design department is really nice. They are friendly in nature. Always ready to help even in personal work also.

Dislikes

Management of Chandigarh University is disappointing. Management is just like govt. Bank "Yha pr nhi hoga wha jao is counter pr nhi us counter pr., Lunch break, Kl aana and so on."
Sometimes management print wrong marks or name on marksheet.

Placement Experience:

Companies are come for hiring students. But for our departments they are very less companies comes. Last year in interior design only 4 students were placed. And in design department the highest placement package is 7LPA only.

Placements in this particular stream is yet average and the basic recruitments is the freelancing work we do of the design. But when the companies come the placements are good, as a matter of fact the companies are very limited

Likes

I love how huge the campus is and every corner of the campus is filled with beauty and aesthetics.
The facilities provided here is very good in a way we don’t have to go outside the university for anything.eg- shopping malls, cafés, uni hospital etc
we can connect or interact with different students from different countries and states.

Dislikes

Only cold water is provided in the hostels so if we are sick or something we have to boil the water on our own.
This campus is fully veg so we have to go outside the campus for having non veg.
We have to apply for leave (day leave , night leave) if we are staying in the hostel and is limited.

Placement Experience:

after the completion of your course you will get the placements and 95% of the students will get placed this is applicable only if work hard for what you want to achieve. after getting this degree I actually like to start my own business and be a entrepreneur.

Remarks:

It was ranked in top 10 and had good reviews.Also quite affordable compared to private colleges for fashion design. I always wanted to pursue fashion design and this college was my 2nd priority after NIFT.

Best University in Punjab.

Remarks:

excellent academic system good infrastructure cons strict timings 9:25 am to 4:30 pm sometimes we work late and to come on Saturdays also management is good and supportive

one of best university in india

Remarks:

CU is very big university so if someone has some problem it may take some time to resolve but it will resolve for sure. ci have student care center which is open 24x7 and where anyone can share their problem or complaint against anyone every student is allowed to meet higher authority directly some things which I don't like is the behaviour of security guard but then I think they all are doing it for us only.

I applied to multiple colleges like SRM Chennai, VIT vellore, and Lovely Professional University(LPU). I got confirmed admisison from all of them. I choose this university cause of the low fees and it is near to the place where I live. Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

I gave cucet but can't find the college that have cse in their colleges. That time my father was recently posted in chandigarh as chandigarh university was very close to me and the transport is also easy and I don't have to pay the hostel fees and I can be a day scholar also so I choosed this college as it provide a good network of peoples. The admission process was to simple ,I just applied for their entrance online exam cucet and booked a slot gave online test of 100 mcq from the selected domain and after that I got scholarship and to confirm my seat I have to pay 10000 part of my semester fees (that 10000 was from my semester fees) and after doing online formalities and upload document. I got a call that you can come to university and attend classes. The admission process of too simple so I never taught of choosing other college at that time....Read More

An honest and brutal review for paramedical College
