Remarks

Online admission is based on Marks obtained in the entrance exam. Application form is available online. Usually, the admission process is slow. Back classes have some percentage of reservation I got obc reservation. Application fees are very low.

Course Curriculum Overview

I love geography so I chose. Students' faculty ratio is sufficient Qualification is strictly for every tutor who has a net/Ph.D. Teaching methods are effective no spoon feeding. There is 4-semester exams. Somehow difficult to secure high marks.

Internships Opportunities

For the subject of mine placement opportunities are low. Project-based on population and elephant park near our locality. Our tutors supported us very well in our project. Also, the scholarship provided economical support.

Fees and Financial Aid

As a government-based institution fees hikes are not a major problem. I got a stipend for students from backward classes. Transportation study books prices are costly. Festivals celebrations and other events need some extra money.

Campus Life

High support for sports arts daily seminar. The government is spending funds on this programs. Eco-club nss previous question bank website. Film club etc. World famous book's are available Subject based books and self improvement books etc

Unforgettable Memories

Likes

Good atmosphere and good building. Play ground is very big.
Students are very respective. We are going to study tours.
Visit students houses. Participating in our classmates marriage function.

Dislikes

College is so far from bus stop. In a strange area
No canteen in the college compound. Water availability isbless
So many steps to reach in my classroom. Auto availability is less

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is beneficial to those students are need more knowledge. Curriculum is relevent to higher education and other competitive exams. It is back bone of all students those study well. Nice course

Placement Experience:

From the beginning of 3rd-semester placements begin to happen. companies come in for specialist as well as general IT jobs. None can guarantee that you will be placed at the end of your course. If you really put in the effort you will get ample opportunities to showcase your talent.

One of the in oldest college Idukki

Admission:

Amar college takes admission merit wise criteria. Aggregate marks obtained at 10 + 2 or equivalent are taken into consideration while preparing the merit list for each course. Applications for admission are accepted in online as well as offline mode. After acceptance application for admission one has to go through a short interview before finalisation of the admission. Being an over 35 years old college in the district it is known for the quality of its education.

Quite unnoticed, yet ahead of time

Remarks:

The best remark I could make here is that the college gives you the freedom to work and push your ideas. The facilities like Cisco Thingqbator, Kerala Startup Mission and Fablab can take you to another level. The bad remark is that the institute's own premises are less and offer no hostels. But from 2020 onward the entire IIITMK is moving to the new international campus (in Technocity, 7km away from current location) having hostel facilities for all.

Remarks:

The best thing I found there is a Cisco Thingqbator (Maker space) where we can build IoT devices and more.Cisco is doing this project with partnershiping with Nasscom and Defy.Li2 conduct lot of workshops under Thingqbator about IoT and machine learning and lot of things.Even they mantor students to build their idea which is submitted under cohort programs hosted by them and provide all fecilities and equipments.This is the only one thing that I kike in this Institute.It is well maintained by Cisco not by our administration.That may be the reason it is well maintained.
