NERIM, BCA, General

Reviewed on Aug 5, 2022(Enrolled 2019)

Remarks

My admission process was easy. Though the Location is far away from my home I choose this college because I found the environment of the college is very nice. I am from BCA 2019 batch. The college has a nice infrastructure and faculty members are very friendly and tried to teach very nicely.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have always been interested in the IT sector. So I choose this course. In Nerim, faculty members are very friendly and teach us very nicely. Each semester we have two examinations at the semester and end semester. In between these, they conduct class tests also.

Class Size: 58Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Nerim has an affordable fee structure. Nerim has a very nice placement cell that helps everyone even me, I also benefitted from them. I also get internships at two companies during my BCA. Every year very reputed IT companies came here where we can apply and get jobs also.

Campus Life

Nerim has a very nice campus. The environment of the campus is very nice. Nerim every year celebrates different events. Recently they organized a very nice event NEERMAN where I and my friends enjoyed it a lot and it was a very nice experience. I always found my desired books in the library section. Apart from this e-library option is also available. They have fully air-conditioned classrooms.

Thoughts regarding my college

Likes

Have a canteen and a cafe type where we can have good quality delicious food whenever felt hungry
Faculties are very good in our department
Better transportation facilities available

Dislikes

I didn't dislike anything there.Everything was good

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in 5th semester.Various companies come for placement like HDFC bank and more. The package that was offered was around 2lpa in 2024.During our time placement drive was organised in 5th semester but the companies demanded immediate joining which was not possible for us to join since we were already left with one more semester to complete .

My review- Barpeta

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had a little bit of interest in computers from my childhood. When I grew up the interest is increased a little bit more. After completing my HS I decided to take admission in the Computer science program. Then one of my friends suggested me to take admitted to Madhab Choudhary college, BARPETA for the BCA course. Our faculty : student ratio is 1:15 . Our Both two facilities had completed master degree course in Computer Application . I will not say that they are give their best to teach us but they are good in teaching . After every 5 month they conduct sessional exam . And the final exam is held in every six month of period . There is little bit moderate to pass the examination .

Placement Experience:

I think the percentage needed to get the placements is above 90%. I am planning on doing my master's too in this college but if I get placement after my BCA I will do my master's in open university. That is my pan so far.

Admission:

Admission process is fairly simple.Students interested in this course can fill the admission form and will be selected based on their merit in higher secondary which should be 45% minimum (for general and OBC) and 40% for SC/ST. They should've mathematics/statistics/CAES as one of their subjects.
