I applied to DTU after completing my diploma I took the DTULEET which happens every year in July. Based on my ranking and other criteria I was awarded a seat. The main scope for improvement is that the college authorities should provide a few days to arrange fees rather than asking the parents to submit fees in 2-3 hours
Course Curriculum Overview
Biotechnology being an upcoming field was my top priority. For a class size of 70, we have 1 teacher and 1-2 lab assistants All the faculty are very well qualified with good experience in teaching The term exams happen every alternative month
Internships Opportunities
With a placement and training cell in DTU, all the internship needs are taken care of well A resume, manager help us in sharing and improving our CV and constantly share the vacancies in companies available for interns
Placement Experience
The students are eligible from the last year A lot of companies like Amazon cognizant etc visit the campus The highest for the year 2021 was 1.5 crores with the average being 7 lakh pa The majority percentage.of the students are placed My plan is to go for a master's in my field
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is too high considering it to be a government college. The fee being 219000 per year is equivalent to private engineering universities. There are scholarships but only a handful of students avail them
Campus Life
The college life of DTU is happening with manifest being the main attraction and a few celeb performances arranged by the club's The Library has more than a sufficient amount of books The class room is well equipped with digital teaching methods Sports and extracurricular activities are well taken care of by the huge ground on the campus
