Remarks

We have a mentor program where the staff councils individual students in regards to their life goals and career objectives. The college is situated at the outskirts of the city the college has good facility and excellent staff. The placement are best part here. The staff is dedicated to individual improvement of the individual. It also has excellent infrastructure.

Entrance Preview

Candidates who do not have a valid score of other renowned entrance exams need to take up the ASM-CAT conducted by Acharya School of Management. The exam pattern is tricky but very easy to solve. It is followed by GD and PI rounds where they will evaluate your performance. Previous academic results in school and colleges and work experience also plays an important role during the time of admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course is designed and structured very well. The approach used here is Project Based Learning, Focus is on learning-by-doing - activity based (events, research projects, assignments, industry study, country study, simulation games, management games, workshops, etc), Presentations and Lectures, Debates and Discussions, Project work in every subject, One full term - Three months of Corporate Internship, Major Research Project in specialization etc.

Internships Opportunities

The Corporate Internship Report is a critical component of the PGDM program. All students must undergo a full time of internship in a company. The entire internship will be guided by a faculty member and mentored by a corporate guide. You will be asked to prepare a project based on the interest and work you did there during the internship and will receive credits based on it.

Exam Structure

PGDM follows the CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) system. A minimum CGPA of 5.5 out of 10 is required to successfully complete the PGDM program. The college follows the Continuous Evaluation System. The components of evaluation include Quizzes Assignments, Research Projects, Class Participation, Attendance, Mid-term examinations and End-term examinations.

Placement Experience:

Since we are going into our 2nd year, our batch hasn't been through campus placement yet. Based on previous batch records, though, students are typically eligible for placements from the 4th trimester onwards, once internships are completed. GIBS had a strong track record, with over 200+ companies visiting campus, including names like Amazon, Accenture, Wipro, Mahindra Finance, etc. The highest package offered was around 20 LPA, and average package was around 8.3 LPA

College provides a proper assistance for placements, all students gets placed, exception of 2-3 students are there, placements starts for summer internship one two months after entering the college, the procee is on till maximum of students gets placed. In and arround 50-80 companies visit campus for hiring and offers is made to every possible students eligible. Highest package stands at 18 lakhs and is between 10 to 11 lakhs. Nearly every students gets placed, exception of 2-3 students are there. Ambition and aspiration in my views changes as time proceeds, so I believe in short term goal making, though my plans post degree is to get placed in an MNC to kickstart my career from good position, where learning graph is very high.

Typically the average package they offered to people was around 3- 4 lakhs and the highest was way up to 10 lakhs.
