I was enrolled in a post-SSC diploma course. The admission procedure was centralized by the Maharashtra State government. Eligibility criteria are you should be at least passed 10th standard with 40% of marks.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had chosen a diploma in computer engineering as I want to pursue an Engineering Degree. Facilities are good, and the ratio of students and faculty is 20:1. Teaching methods are excellent as there are practical's and labs for every subject. A progressive test is conducted twice every semester. The semester-wise examination pattern is conducted.
Internships Opportunities
Due to COVID, very less students were placed in internships with companies. Most of the students were given a problem statement by the College itself as an internship project. My experience with the internship was not as good.
Placement Experience
Campus placement is offered for 5 semesters. Around 90% of students were placed successfully. The average CTC offered was around 2 lakhs. Companies like atmos, etc visit. As mostly of students choose to go for higher education in Engineering.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure was around 70,000 for a year which includes two semesters. There is a scholarship for the Economic Backward class (EWS) which is provided by the state government. The eligibility criteria for the scholarship is family annual income should be less than 8 lakhs. This scholarship provides 50% off tuition fees to students.
Campus Life
The annual function is celebrated every year with the great involvement of students. Annual sports are conducted Every year for sports enthusiasts, sports such as carrom, table Tennis, Cricket, Soccer, football, and doughball events were conducted. The college comes with best-in-class libraries with digital support Such as tabs and PCs. To encourage technologies, the Techshala event is organized every year in which final-year students showcase their projects.
