Remarks

As I wrote the KCET entrance exam for getting admission to this college. We can get admission by writing COMEDK. In my department which is ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION the eligible ranking for KCET is 28000 for general merit. There is a process in KCET for choosing the college so no need to visit the university/college personally. For reservations, you guys can visit the KCET website. In our college admission doesn't take much time.

Course Curriculum Overview

As we are Corona batch we don't have time so for that our first semester was only for 4 months and the second semester was 5 months. Exams are medium we can pass easily no need to worry about exams. Teachers will provide assignments based on the questions asked in exams

Internships Opportunities

For skilled and topper of the academics, the internships are like bus, if one bus goes another enters the platform likewise, the company's are ready to hire us Or else we can go off campus for an internship.

Placement Experience

This year around 450+ students had placement. Even thought 3rd-year students also got placement. Based on their performance in academics. If the student has the skill and is good in academics then there is no tension about placements. Because college will provide placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are fixed for all four years there is no hike or less fees. For aided the fees are 43810 rupees and for unaided the fees are 93000 rupees but for the SC/ST reservation the fees are less and the fees are 28000 rupees. Payment seats are dependent on the branch they choose.

Campus Life

There is no fest in the college For books and journals, no need to take tension because the library provides every author's books to students so don't worry about books. Classrooms are good No sports in the college till now in future they might take place. Students are busy with their studies there are no activities like running groups, clubs, or websites.

A great place for learning and career growth

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

My life at CMR - University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

My campus life so far

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.

Genuine and straight forward

Based on the CET ranking I had online councelling in which I had selected something around 14 to 18 colleges according to the rank list based on previous year data.
