Remarks

There are no entrance exams, the courses are based on the student's 12th score. There are two ways Management quota and Government quota. There are many courses in our college, our college provides us with all the needs and support for our betterment.

Course Curriculum Overview

As a girl Mechanical department, I got this chance to improve my communication and became brave only because of the support given by our college. Our faculty teach each and every basic and depth of the subject.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our college has credit points for internships. It is important to complete at least one internship. The period of internship must be a minimum of 15 working days. We have to do 2 projects mini project and the main project, a mini project in the 3rd year and the main project in the final year

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, students are eligible to attend placement and the training is given from the 6th semester. Presently CTS, TCS, ACCENTURE, HEXAWARE and BOSH have completed the placement. CTS has selected 77 students, BOSH have also selected more than 50 students and ACCENTURE is in process. The package is in the range of 4 to 8 Lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provides us with all the scholarships and jobs for the betterment of students. It helps us to improve and prepare for all the situations. College provides internships and also provides a few stipend internships. In our college internship have cried point

Campus Life

Our SRMVEC Celebrate all the fest. Every department conduct symposium. Our college has NSS, NCC, and YRC. We also conduct sports day to improve and encourage the students in sports activities. We have a good classroom atmosphere

Hostel Facilities

The hostel room consists of 3 members of the same year. They provide room also with an attached washroom. There are several rules, and time limits. We have regular study hours 8:30 to 10:30 pm. The only importance given is safety

you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

I applied to Chennai Institute of technology where the fee structure was enormously high. Ehere as the SRM valliammai has good infrastructure and also the fee was reasonable. No, i didn't get rejection from Chennai Institute of technology. But i got impressed when i went for visiting SRM valliammai as one of my college hunt. SRM valliammai offers both government quota and also admission directly to the college. I went through government quota. So to apply SRM on should be completed 12th grade with reasonable percentage. From fresher's day to Final year: A glimpse into SRM VEC

I got into Panimalar Engineering College via Counselling process, but decided not to go as the college was very strict and Underexposed.
