Course Curriculum Overview
I am a B.Tech student in Computer Science and Engineering department. I chose this course because I was interested in technology and coding. The faculties are experienced and well-qualified (Masters' and Doctorate) from re-known universities. But 70% faculties are not interested in teaching because they know that students would prepare for exams and placements on their own. There is one mid-term and one end-term examination in one semester. They are easy to pass even if you would start studying before 2 weeks of exams. The curriculum is old and some subjects are useless though.
Internships Opportunities
Companies start visiting the college for internships at the end of 2nd year only. They provide a good amount of stipend, an average of 60k/month. Uber pays around 150k+/ month. All the big MNCs visit like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, etc.
Placement Experience
The placements are top-notch with one of the highest placement stats all over India. Big MNCs and startups start visiting campus for internships around the end of 2nd year and placements around the end of 3rd year. Around 400 companies visit every year for placements with the highest package of 64 LPA (offered by Apple). around 80% of students get placed in all and 90%+ for CS IT departments.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is 206000 for the first year (in 2021). And there is an increment of around 10k in further years of course. The total college fees would be around 9 lacs for four years (excluding hostel fees). There are many scholarships available for SC/ST and financially weak students. And you can apply for a loan also with the bank inside the DTU campus itself. Many big MNCs and startups visit campus for internships (in 3rd year) and placements (in 4th year) with the highest CTC of 64 LPA (Apple).
Campus Life
The college life at DTU is the best in Delhi after IITD. There are many active societies inside the campus like as dancing, singing, painting, debate, drama, drones, mass rovers, coding, etc. You can get any stationary or printouts on campus. There are many food or drink spots. The classrooms are well equipped with AC. There is a huge open sports complex also where you can play any sports and there is an indoor court also for badminton, billiards, table tennis, etc.

College life is boring. No regular fun and competitive activities. Strictness is very high (strict 75% attendance rule).
