Entrance Preview

I took IIT JEE examination and I scored 90 marks. But it is not mandatory to attend any of the exams given above to entre Sri sairam engineering college.

The course which I took is considered as the basis of engineering studies and the faculty in this college is very well talented ,there are many PH.D holders in my college.

Internships Opportunities

Sri sairam engineering college organises many internship programme for the welfare of students more than 10 reputed companies in relation with my course grab about 90% of students every year.

Placement Experience

About 90% of the students get placed in campus interview , companies like ford , Hyundai , Nissan etc in association with my course(mechanical engineering) offer the jobs to the students. Their basic salary is about 30000 per month.

The fees structure is collected according to the norms prescribed by the Anna university , chennai. The approximate fees structure for a student is rupees 1,30,000 per year.

The college also notices the students about various loans or educational schemes offered by some of the organisation. The college also returns the teaching fees worth 40000 to the students who scores about 95% every year.

Exam Structure

The more exams we write we get trained well like wise the college also conducts 3 unit test 1 model , model practical exam before every semester. The college conducts frequent lab periods and also trains the student in practical ways.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

I applied through tnea counselling. I had a cutoff of 189.5/200 and I applied for top colleges like CEG,MIT,SSN. I know I won't get seat in those colleges as my cutoff is not upto that level.
