Remarks

The admission process went smooth enough for me To get CSE in DTU, you have to get a minimum of 10k rank in JEE MAINS examination(at least 99 percentile and above if u are general) The application form can be found on the JAC website

Course Curriculum Overview

I was genuinely into Computer Science related technology(both hardware and software) Faculty is very supportive at DTU if you coordinate well with your teachers; submit assignments before the due date, and attend classes regularly. Faculty is highly qualified from top IITs in the country. The first 3 semesters were completed within 1 year due to COVID. There are mid sem and end seems in each semester. The paper contains very good-quality questions and it sometimes gets tough to pass examinations

Placement Experience

7th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. Google, Microsoft, Sprinklr Atlassian, Apple, Expedia, Amazon. Offers up to 20L CTC are made. A GPA of 8.5 and above aggregate is considered safe. 97.25% of students were placed in 2021-22 stats. The highest package offered was 2 Cr by amazon Ireland(off campus) and 64 Lakh by Apple Inc. (ON campus). I want to pursue Mtech from outside after getting my Btech degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is incremented by 2-3% every year of Btech starting from 208000 in the first year. The fee is hiked accordingly with infrastructural and educational development in the Institute. Currently, I have entered into 2nd year recently no internships this time

Campus Life

Largest Annual fest: Engifest, north India's largest fest is held in the month of Feb-March every year. Tech fests are held almost every month by different tech societies of the college. Every possible book which you can think of and recommend by the circicullum is available in the Library.

Good college for leaning and enjoy campus life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

If you got no placement then they will give you the opportunity to start the startup. starting the 4th year you get the placement and opportunities. this college visits many companies like Amazon HCL Flipkart etc. this college's highest package is 26 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. 80% of students get placed. my plan is after taking the degree I will start my startup.

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

I have applied to GGSIPU , AKTU and other state colleges , I got admission in all of them but DTU was better than them So i chose it I also managed to crack bits goa but the fees was legit too high for me to afford I get rejected from lower NITS because of my rank. Rank is the only deciding factor in getting into college, nothing else college admission was just like school admission. The only difference was the huge pile of documents. You have to submit so many papers, category documents, residence documents To be eligible, you need to score at least 60% in your Class 12th boards for all category students You also have to sit for the JEE exam, and your admission depends entirely on your JEE rank...Read More
