The College takes student admission on a 12th percentage basis and JEE main rank wise as well. You can find the application form, application fees, and the website of the Jaypee University Of Information Technology. Reservation is there for military children and Himachal Pradesh state. Due to the lockdown, the admission process is not the same now it has become first come first serve which needs to improve as not quantity has overtaken quality.

I choose this course because I wanted to be a software engineer. If there are 8 batches of computer science with 30 students each then there are 3 faculty over them sometimes 2 or 4. Each faculty member has done a Ph.D. from a respected institute, they teach by sharing slides and over whiteboard and projector use during lectures. Per semester there are 3 term exams T1 at the start, T2 mid-term, and T3 at the end.

From the 7th Semester, companies started to come for placement offers. ZS associate - 7, Paxcom - 15, Sopra Steria- 3, Inference - 4, JTG- 1, Mindtree - 7, Accenture - 7, 20(mass), Infosys - 7(DSE), 3(SP) highest package -40LPA Amazon Hackathon of campus, average package- 5LPA. currently, 60% of students are placed but at the end of the 8th semester, 100% of students get placed. After getting a degree ill get a placement only.

There are a 30,000 rupees hike in hostel fees and a 30,000- 50,000 hike in tuition fees after Covid. There is only the Himachal government-provided a scholarship that is valid other than that there are no scholarships.

Annual Fest: LFestius, happens in April or May. Sports Fest: Parakram happens in October. The library consists of every book that is needed, there is a 3-floor library institute. good conduction, a sufficient amount of lights in the room, a whiteboard, a projector table tennis, Football ground, Basketball court, Volleyball court, Badminton court The college has its own official body JYC(JUIT Youth Club) which has many clubs under it theater and dramatics, literary, sports, cultural, and technical. ACM and IEEE are the clubs run by students, and the individual dance clubs DNR, rt, and apocalypse are run by students as well.

The room has a fan, desk, bed, shelf, almirah, tube light, and blowers for winter. Every weekend room is cleaned by the cleaners, laundry facility is also included in the hostel fees, but washrooms are common. Mess food is of good quality and 3 daily meals are provided with each day of the week with a different menu. Registration for the hostel facility was done at the same time as the registration for the semester. The hostel is inside the Campus itself.
