Remarks
the admission process was simple first I have given the upsee exam and then the result was declared. I got a rank of around 14k and opted for counseling. earlier it takes students from upsee but now it takes students on the basis of JEE exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in computer science so the faculty and student ratio is 1:60 most faculty is m.tech and some of them are Ph.D. there are 3 internal exams and one end-sem exam. the exams are not that hard you can clear the end sem exam easily.
Internships Opportunities
usually, companies that offer placement first offer training programs for 6 months. Students can apply for off-campus internships and can do that. companies will give you tasks according to their projects and will teach you about the given technologies.
Placement Experience
for placement, you are eligible in the sixth semester only. The company starts coming from the sixth semester only. so basically many service-based companies come to college like TCS, Infosys, DXC, Tech Mahindra, and IBM. some of the big companies also come like ION, Amazon, Samsung, Hashedin, etc. the highest package from the 2022 batch was 44lpa by amazon. The percentage of students getting a place from the cs department is close to 90 to 95 percent.
Fees and Financial Aid
So the fee structure for the first year is around rupee 130000 and after the first year, the fee will be 120000. The Scholarship is given by the state government you can apply and they will give you financial aid. the campus is good some good companies come like amazon, Samsung, ion, etc.
Campus Life
So there is one annual fest and a technical fest called innotech the annual fest is organized in the month of march and the technical fest is in the month of November. there is one central library where you can get books for your course. the campus is equipped with a badminton court, cricket ground, lawn tennis court, billiards, tt room, football ground, etc. there are many cultural clubs and technical clubs.
