DTU - one of India's top colleges

Students in dtu are admitted through jac Delhi by giving jee mains exam which is conducted twice every year. Students can register for jee mains on their website. After you get your scores you have to login into Jac Delhi website and apply for dtu. The cutoff for General students was 10500 but it was 106000 for SC students. The admission process was seamlessly done online.

Computer Engineering has the best placements among all other engineering branches and it is one of the most up-and-coming brancheses throughout the world. That was the reason I chose this course. The faculty-student ratio is about 1:150. Exams are conducted timely according to the schedule provided at the beginning of the semester. The exams are not very difficult to pass and anyone can get a good score by studying for two weeks.

DTU has excellent internship opportunities. All big companies come to our campus to offer internships. Almost 50% of students get internships in the Computer Engineering branch. Sprinklr - 2lac pm Google - 1.10 lac pm Microsoft - 1.25 lac pm Uber - 1.6 lac pm are some of the top companies that come for internships. Most companies offer SWE or SDE roles. Some companies also offer Data Science roles.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th Semester. All big tech companies like Amazon, Apple, Google, and Sprinklr visit our campus. for the 21-22 session 400+ companies visited our campus with 2000+ offers. 100% of students from the Computer Engineering branch got placed. Apple offered the highest package of 64lpa for the Software Engineering role. My plan after getting the degree are to get a job in a good company.

The current fee is 2,19,000. There is a 5-6% fee hike every academic year. There are various scholarships that the college and Delhi Government provide which can be availed by the students. There are reservations for EWS too. You can avail of on-campus internships under profs for 5k per month.

DTU's specialty is its annual fest, Engifest. It is one of India's biggest fests having a footfall of over 1,00,000. It is usually conducted in the month of January or February. A lot of books and journals are available in the library which students can issue for studying. The library is huge and equipped with AC. The classroom is also equipped with AC and projectors. DTU is also equipped with class sports facilities. There is a tennis court, a football field, a cricket ground, and a basketball court. There is an indoor sports complex and Gym also. Students can join various societies like Pratibimb, Madhurima, and Vibe crew.
