BCA from Babu Banarasi Das University Lucknow

As BBDU is a private University so there is Direct Admission. You don't have to give an entrance Exam for that. You just have to visit the admission cell of BBDU and have a one-to-one interview with the admission officer. They will verify your certificate of high school and inter and if you score more than 60% then they will give you admission and you just pay the fee for the semester. Admission is open from July till the last week of August. As BCA is a professional course and BBDU is a private University there is no reservation benefit here. Anyone can get admission.

BCA is a Professional course in Computer Background so anyone interested in the computer field can pursue BCA. This is an alternative course for Btech-CS. Its fee is also less than Btech thatswhy students prefer to do BCA. Or the person who does not qualify for the IIT pursues BCA as an alternative and works hard to do MCA from NITs. There are almost 600 students in BCA having 6 Different batches them. The faculty is also good. they will give you all the theoretical Knowledge regarding different core subjects of computers. In a year there are two semesters and each semester there are 2 exams which have to be given by the students.

In the final year, Students are eligible for the placement so they can sit for the placement in the final year. If you are selected for one company then you will not get a chance to sit for later on. Some companies like Wipro TCS HCL SAP Tech Mahindra visits the campus. The highest salary is 5 LPA and the average salary is 3 lac.

As told earlier fee of BCA was 30000 but now it is increased to 40000 per semester. BBDU provides merit-based Scholarships to all the toppers. If your rank is 1st then you will be given a 100% scholarship. And for the 2nd and 3rd, it is 75 % and 50 % respectively. and other top 30 students got a 25% Scholarship. BBDU also provides NSP and State scholarships. Those who belong to Uttar Pradesh will also get Scholarships according to their Category. Placement is 30% in BBDU with the heighest salary up to 5 lac

Social Life at BBDu is awesome. The different fest took place there from time to time. Every month there is one fest. There is an annual Fest named UTKARSH which is a grand fest in which one Celebrity definitely will come. There is a central library that has all course curriculum-related books but you have to reissue that book every week which is a problem sometimes. Sports Activities are also very good at BBDU. there are different Sports in which you get a chance to participate and play.

Hostel Life is Excellent there are 3 hostels for boys and 4 separate hostels for Girls. So there are lots of room for students. In the first year, it is a 3 seater room and after that, it is 2 seater. The menu and food quality are also Good. Sometimes Food contains lots of oils so you will get healthy if you eat food inside the hostel. In front of the campus, there are lots of PGS and rooms available. so anyone can live outside also.
