Remarks

Earlier when I took admission, we had to take UPSEE but now admissions happen through JEE. You can select the college after your result is out. Yes, you can avail of reservation benefits such as SC/ST, OBC, Girls quota, EWS, and Jammu Kashmir quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

Since it is autonomous, the paper is made by the teacher who teaches and he/she is the one to check them. Thus, all your marks are dependent on one person from the beginning so maintain good relations with your teacher. This thing has both pros and cons. The Pro is some teachers only teach stuff they are going to ask so you just need to do your assignments and notes.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 88000 per year

Internships Opportunities

0.5

For internships, look for off campus. Only 2-3 companies come on campus for internships that too for CSE. They look for basic coding skills and subject knowledge. If you are into software engineering find like-minded people, join the coding club, stay active on linked in, upskill, and practice coding.

Placement Experience

2.5

You can sit for campus placement last year. You will be notified about drives through official college mail. You can check the IET Lucknow Placement cell's page on LinkedIn. That page has all info about placements, companies and CTC. Although if you become a well-experienced coder, you should look for off campus

Fees and Financial Aid

There hasn't been a fee hike since 2019. I would say the cost is very much fine. If we see the ROI, you are very much likely to get a job offer of more than 5LPA and all in all you spend almost 4-5 lakh in 4 years so I would say this is very cost effective. You can avail UP's scholarship for poor people.

Campus Life

4.5

Every branch holds its own mini-fest, then there are fests by AKTU whose finals take place in IET. We hold TEDx as well. The library is open from 8 am to 8 pm You can find books on all engineering subjects and even for GATE, Management, Economics, Maths English and more. There are clubs for all activities. You can check the media club's page www.ietwhiteboard.net This page will tell you everything abt college

Hostel Facilities

girls' hostels are very good compared to other engineering colleges. Boys' hostels are crowded due to the huge number of boys. The menu is decided by a committee you can raise the issue if you dont like it. Food is okayish, not too bad but not like Tier 1 or private colleges.

Hostel Fee: INR 14000 per year

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam
