Remarks

The entrance exam is JEE mains through which you get admitted to DTU and the counseling is done by JAC Delhi. You can go through the cut-off list from the Jac Delhi site or DTU official site. Try to get full information when you sit for counseling go through several videos like Ajay raj, and prayush rai and know the terms float and freeze.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Faculty members are generally good there are some exceptions everywhere most of the faculties are Ph.D. holders and I choose dtu biotech over nsut because of a good curriculum you get a lot of free time to do your stuff from coding to working on your personality. And about exams go through only your professor's notes, the book suggested by them, and previous year's questions with the most YouTube videos on that particular topic.

Internships Opportunities

4

For internships one must have to maintain a good Cgpa for the first 3semester like if have an 8.5+cgpa then one will be eligible to sit for internships. Most of the tech companies come for sde interns but there are some consultancy and finance-based companies too. The highest stipend is around 1lakh/month for three months by uber, code nation. For interns, you must have completed your dsa, oops cn, etc. With your projects, and the project is as important as dsa because they are looking for a developer you have to show your skills there are many different ideas available on the web but you don't have to exactly copy them and improvise them.

Placement Experience

4.5

DTU is famous due to its placement cells as it allows all students from all MNCs who came here with high, above average, and here average package is 9 lakhs in Biotech but these are not for core backgrounds for Software developers. Here are the placement stats- Highest international- 1.84cr/annum Highest domestic- 64lakhs/annum Students placed - 1833/1881(97.45%) Students placed with CTC more than 20lakhs are 410. For internships, companies take three sem CGPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are quite high and increasing at the rate of 10k per year at now the fees are around 2lakhs 12k and for next year it will be 2lakhs 22k. There are scholarships and fee concessions also available for whom fall below the poverty line or for Economically weaker sections by DTU and there is a scholarship offered by e-district Delhi for minorities according to your annual income.

Campus Life

4

College life is best than other colleges except for IIT Delhi. Dtu has many societies like Cc which organize Engifest and then there is yuan, assets, and others in a year you will experience 4 to 6 fests in DTU. There are around lakhs of books available in our library with good Wi-Fi connectivity and it closed at around 10 pm. There is an indoor sports hall where you get 2 badminton courts and four table tennis tables. Cricket ground, football ground, kabaddi court, basketball and volleyball court, and lawn tennis. There is a small gym if you are into fitness you have to wake up early because there is a crowd after 7 am.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.
