Good college with pros and cons.

As for the admission process, students will find it difficult in finding the admission office in our college, because the college management changes the admission office frequently and the remaining admission process is quite good in Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College.

There are two mid-exams for each semester. For each mid-exam, there is a gap of two months when the syllabus is taught by the professors and after the second mid-exam, semester exams will be conducted. For each year there are two semesters. Mid-exams are easy to pass by learning all the basic concepts and for semester exams we need to prepare well right from the start of the course to get a good score.

I have placed in Mindtree company with a package of 4 lakhs/annum. I am trying other companies also which offer more packages than Mindtree. Getting placed in a good company with a high package is quite hard in this college.

No scholarship has been provided to me in the college but some students will get scholarships from the state government. For my financial assistance i.e., for the college fees, my parents are paying it. I got a job in Mindtree with a package of 4 lakhs/year.

In our college, there are various groups like student affairs and cultural activities groups where all the programs are conducted by the students. College management is not included in this. Every each annual day celebrations and a programme called the Mohan mantra will happen.

In the first year, I have been in the college hostel which is good in terms of maintenance and food but the fees are high like 95000/year and we don't have enough freedom. In the second year, I joined in a hostel named "Balaji Bhoodevi" hostel which is quite good in all aspects with a fee of 60000/year.
