College review

The eligibility of the computer science course in CVR is to get below 5000 ranks in EAMCET for OBC and below 2000 ranks in general. The application fees and dates are on the college website. The reservation benefits are depended on the rank in EAMCET for the different categories so that it will be decided whether the students get a 100 per cent scholarship or some other percentage.

I have chosen this course because computer science is in demand and our college provides the highest package for most the students The ratio of faculty and students is 1:60. All the faculty teaching in CVR have a doctorate and have enough knowledge about the technologies. The term exams were 2 times a year and it was not that hard to pass the term exams as CVR has the best faculty. More than 90 per cent of the students get a 70 per cent cgpa.

Almost all the companies are providing internships to CVR college based on their full-time package. Amazon offered SED roles for students providing internships with a stipend of 60000 and a package of 30 lakh. Similarly, most the companies are offering software engineer roles and developer roles giving a maximum package by providing students with real-world projects.

Students become eligible for the placements drive in their 6th semester and more than 1000 students have been placed every year. The highest package offered is amazon and commvault with 30 lakh packages and with an average of 7 lakh packages. After getting a degree most of the students will be joining companies and those who dont will be going for the master's.

The fee of CVR is 121075 rs and has not been hiked for so many years and those who get a good rank in EAMCET will get a scholarship deduction based on their rank and cutoff in that college. I have been placed at cognizant and with an internship stipend of 10000rs.

Each year there will be a cyber fest for computer science and flashmob which will be conducted in a mall by students gaining the attention by dance. Also, every year annual day celebrations are done and DJ night is conducted by the college.

Hostel facilities in CVR are very nice. Hostel facilities are for both boys and girls. All academic year students together stay in a hostel. There will be no ragging in hostels and the hostel warden take necessary care of all of them. Hostels are kept clean day by day. Hostel meal is so good that each day has a variety and two times chicken a week. Food is unlimited for every hostel student.

Various topics have been covered in GD and there is placement training on our campus for interviews and test pattern will be of three sections coding aptitude and interview. We are prepared for all these rounds by campus recruitment training in our college.
